    Hello! I watched your video with great interest and have the following questions.
    Is the paint you put on the linoleum in the beginning a distemper paint for walls?
    What kind of paper are you printing on and what is the motif transferred to the lino plate with?

    • @emilunderbjerg
      @emilunderbjerg  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hi, the paint is simply white acrylic paint. im using japanese kozo paper and the transfer technique can be found here:

    amazing composition ! i try liquitex medium once but impossible to withdraw the medium after encarving, maybe acrylic paint makes it easier to avoid this ? did u have difficulties to clean up the lino after encarving ?

    • @emilunderbjerg
      @emilunderbjerg  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      ii dont remove the liquitex, i just make sure to mske it as smooth and flat as possible when i do the transfer, that way i have to remove it 🙂

    Fantastic video, your work is inspiring and addictive. Do you mind if I ask what is the white stuff you applied on the acrylic paint to transfer the image? and how long do you wait to remove the paper?transfer ?

    What type of Lino material is that and where can you get it. All I can get is the huge 8 x 11 from Amazon.

    • @emilunderbjerg
      @emilunderbjerg  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      it's by a brand called Forbo, sometimes it's called Best. i buy it from s shop here in Denmark called Aart De Vos - i don't know if they ship internationally or if you can get it somewhere else

    What is the white substance that you paint onto the lino? Is that watered down craft glue?

    • @emilunderbjerg
      @emilunderbjerg  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      it's simply white acrylic paint mixed with water. i that because it's easier to see the black lines of the drawing on white rather than brown

    • @emilunderbjerg
      @emilunderbjerg  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's the back of label/sticker paper. i have stickers with my logo on them that I put on the cardboard tubes i use when i ship prints, andi use the leftover paper where the stickers used to be 🙂

    First minute had about 10 secs of content, rest was filler. This is 19 mins long and part one. Thumbnail looks intriguing, but even at 2X playback I feel like this would take forever.

      hi Michael, sorry you feel this way. i really enjoy making videos like this one, and the others in the series will be just like it. if you have any constructive feedback I'd love to hear it. thanks for watching

      Michael_M, perhaps this is a bit more ASMR than a lino print instruction, and in that case the 19 minutes that seem so endless, are actually the whole point of it? I find the sounds relaxing and the light falls very prettily in through the window, and the print is full of interesting details.
      And if you Emil like to make videos just like this, please go on. But perhaps add ASMR to the title or description, because you do that really well too😊
