Lol, that's the way we came here from flagstaff a few weeks ago! That road is crazy, but it does have beautiful views! I had to keep downshifting into 2end just to keep Big Bertha going! And it was the first time her temp gauge went over half, had to pull over & let it cool down, or it would have overheated 🤦🏼♀️ I'm willing to bet your new rig did much better on those crazy, long inclines? I thought it would never end lol! 🙄😂

I used to live in Phoenix, and rode to Saguaro Lake, and Payson, and even to the Grand Canyon via bicycle, back in my younger crazy days!! Mike now in Oregon
I built the seam up with a box full of dog things, toys extra food, etc., for the dogs put it on the passenger seat then their dog bed so they can lay down and look out the window when I’m driving... they love it

#188 Good morning, Ausia. I drive through heavy traffic cities at night, 1:00 AM to 4:00 AM. To avoid as much traffic as possible. If cities have a decent truck by-pass, I will take that. The weather here in Brighton, Michigan is 70 degrees this weekend. Very pleasant. Onward Bound!

For altitude sickness have y’all thought to try motion sickness tablets? I’ve heard they help. Seems to me I recall hearing that it’s a temporary inner ear unbalance that causes this. 🤮

Aussia I'm very familiar with the Arizona since I've been living here for over 60 years. Pine is one of our most iconic little towns to visit, especially during the summer. Anyway since you recently became an Arizona land baron (lol) I assume you will start spending more time in the state. Well let me give a couple of summer areas to visit when your not at your ranch next summer. Lake Mary road from just south of Flagstaff heading east towards Happy Jack which connects with 87 just north of 260 which you took to Camp Verde. Another off the pavement is forest road 300. You take it heading east from 87 and it travels across the Mongollon Rim for 27 miles and connects to Woods Canyon Lake. Anyway they both have many boondocking and offroad trails.
Under the tunnel and off at 51 was my route home everyday from work lol I got flashbacks and yes there was an accident in that same area more times than I can count lol and yes westbound always looks like that at 3 lol great trip!
I’m leaving the Valley tomorrow but we were here at the same time. Maybe we’ll meet up somewhere south/west when the weather cools down. Safe travels🚐🧚♀️😌
Got to remember your road to the property is extremely dusty. That's going to clog your air filter fast so you may want to check it frequently. depending on how often you drive in and out on that road.

One of the nicest areas to visit. Don't miss the beautiful old Victorian style homes in Prescott. Quite a treat. The old Court House in the Square downtown. Lots of history. Putting that eye candy beside Sedona and you have a delightful visit to historical gems. Memories to treasure. Be safe Blessings

Was just on that freeway last week dropping my daughter and her husband off at sky harbor. Have to go there again Monday night to pick them up. I hate driving on that highway
