What gets me is the lyrics "I just lost a hundred pounds I'm trying to live" and his weight still got him. My heart breaks everytime I here this song.
Yeah he should of stuck with the weight-loss program at Duke University but he prematurely quit the program and eventually regained the weight. I guess he loved eating too much and didn't care that he was eating himself to death (his weight had reached a peak of 698 pounds (317 kg) at the time of his death).
