It works because when the copper is electrified, it becomes electromagnetic. Which causes all the magnets to want to connect to the copper wire which they all can’t connect to the wire so, the soda can spins

In the copper coil when electricity is supplied to it a magnetic field is created. And the magnets on the outside make it so when a magnetic field occurs in the coils, the coil gets propelled away since they are opposite to eachother this makes the coils spin around.
