I admire your style so much and I have yet to come anywhere close to what you do. I think that's what got me hooked on this kind of painting, is that even though I may use the exact same recipes or tools , each piece is so very different and I think we can each find out own style. Yours just happens to be better than most! It's obvious you have spent a lot of time perfecting it and I am always so grateful for your videos and your voice overs.
This is a beautiful painting. I really like watching your videos because you aren't afraid of changing things as you go along. Thank you for inspiring me.
Thank you so much for all your love and support Sweet Heather. So grateful for all of your help. Thank you as well for the wonderful Shout-Out . I am overwhelmed. Peace and love. Cathleen
Oh my gosh, Heather! You are FEARLESS! Your color pallets are always beautiful...and I never doubt that your paintings will turn out gorgeous, no matter what you remove from your original pour. Amazing! Love this piece!
So well done... I love your sense of adventure as an artist...your willingness to take risks and make changes. Beautiful outcome and very well done video.
Absolutely, positively beautiful! I love the way you filled in that area to make look like it just belongs. It was very wise and very artistic. Gorgeous!!!
Magnificent. Best yet. I have visited many pour painting sites. I have spent untold hours watching various people do pours, but this is, hands-down, the best technique you have developed, e.g., voiceover, multiple camera, exquisite work and wonderful editing. Please continue your mission of bringing paint pouring to the people.
This is so stunning and magical it hard to see you take off the beauty, but what you add the WOW factor girl you make it look way to easy. You inspire me to keep trying and playing.
I’m saving for the auction. I won a piece from Priscilla Batzell, which I saved to open until today(my b-day) now I’m saving for one of yours. Watching different artists is so interesting just on personal preference alone. You (& I) prefer lacing type cells, but Julie Cutts gets upset when cells are “wobbly”, that’s why she uses glue/water & silicone. Gilly does “Gilly clusters” with her torch & loves them, you didn’t even use a torch. The acrylic pouring community is true “diversity” without even trying. I love it!
Your picture looks like you're growing your grey hair out! I am too. That's what my channel has been about. I just like to do acrylic pours for relaxation, though watching videos of other people doing it is even more relaxing to me than doing it! LOL
I'm not sure if you ever look at comments from older videos, but I had to say something about this masterpiece! First, I do have to tell you, not everyone can do a swipe. When you asked that question, sitting alone in my bed at almost 5am, I raised my hand when you said "Who cannot do a swipe?". I did my very first one about 4 days ago, and so let's just say, I need some practice. Back to this masterpiece, though, OMG, the colors were amazing and those pearls! Honestly, the most fun about painting...period, is playing in the pigments, the marvelous colors in the paint and I only have about 5-6 tubes of Golden (2oz tubes) paints and certainly no iridescent colors. But how you put the colors together is totally an art in itself and you're damn good at it. I'm learning and still have a long way to go, but I don't think I could ever enjoy even trying this style of painting if all I used were the paints that are already prepared for pouring and by the time I even discovered those existed, I had already fallen love with playing in the colors. That "plum" color was the bomb! I've shopped for a lot of paints and I've never seen that color, at least by that name. I know you mix many of your own colors so I'm assuming that's one of yours. It's divine! There is one that may be similar I have yet to use by Jacquard and it looks a lot like that, but when you scraped that beautiful painting I nearly cried. Then, your swipe colors, oh wow! It's funny, but if you notice in your video, right after your pour it and before you tilt, it looks like something weird is being hurled outside of a plum lipsticked mouth! I was so happy that part was gone when you tilted. I watched you teach your way of tilting on one of your live pours about 3-4 weeks ago and have been doing it that way myself now, though lately have not done a ring, dirty, or straight pour till tonight (which is why I was up so late). Of course I scraped that one too but I did tilt it the way you instructed. Thanks so much and know that your instructions do NOT fall on deaf ears. That's 2 big lessons so far I've learned from you (one I mentioned tonight on another video about varnishing). Now, if you could teach me how to make my colors work better together. I've noticed you and Lam use many colors in your pours and because I cannot make up my minds, I too include a lot of colors, but mine don't work out so well, so any information you might find helpful for that problem I will gladly accept your instruction. Heather, I would love to give you a tip in that tip jar and when I sell a painting (if ever) you can bet your bottom dollar that I will tip you well. I won't go into all the reasons I'm so broke just know that I struggle to buy paint and pray that I die young so that I don't have to take money from my kids 😥. I'm joking about that part but it is a struggle and when this video was made it was before the plandemic and I know you've been out of work for a while. Hopefully, WA will open up soon. I'm in Texas so we're pretty wide open except for nursing homes and assisted living where my 90 year old mother is. Keep up the great art and once again thanks for all you do for those who are learning and know that it is helping so many and it will return to you (at least from me it will) when I can make it work out. Sorry so long. You'll learn this about me. I'm pretty chatty.
@@HeatherMaderArt I was sweating too on the first scrape, and then the second one, I nearly died. But you knew what you were doing and I should have know you did! It is gorgeous and I didn't think you could improve on it, but you did!
Kenneth Keene lol... I have like 35 videos on balloon rolls and I’ve done them fresh and also waiting. I’m pretty much an expert on it and I can tell u that satin enamel white makes them challenging
Please forgive me for commenting on older videos but when you are new to this art form then you watch every video of every artist you like. This piece is masterful! The colors are magic together and in spite of your booboos and scraping you indeed, pulled off a masterpiece. Each cell was full of sparkle and color and those minuscule mica flakes sprinkled throughout the canvas are divine. The center looks like an iridescent river flowing over pearlized/jeweled pebbles. It has to be what a river of gold, diamonds and jewels would look like. I know it has a name but I'd call it "River of Golden Gems". I can certainly see why you were excited to share your experience and results of it. Just curious, did you resin it? I cannot imagine what it would look like resined!
Just floetrol and a bit of water. The Satin Enamel "Cloud" Mix is 50% Decoart Satin Enamel White with 50% Artist Loft White and a squirt of Liquitex Pouring Medium.
I wish I had seen this last week. I could have saved a few pours. The result is beautiful. When you do a swipe is the darker color heavier than the base colors?

Heather, probably said this before-( it's worth repeating-) I learn so much from you every time I tune in. Your work is superb. God Bless you.
