Unless I'm forgetting an event both story events we've had (burning tides and ruination) the antagonists were champions. Why is he talking about cuts when he's using a bow tho? And the lines about unity don't make sense regarding his character... Are they retconning characters again?
Don't know about the cuts but the unity is probably about the darkin joining forces. In the comic as far as I remember he does say he wants to find the rest of the darkin.
