It hurts me on a personal level to see Matt destroy a robot with a hammer, but it hurts slightly less knowing it's a Furby.

From a google it looks like plastic has to reach its boiling point to catch fire, so the mass of the pan and the food was probably enough to keep it from getting that hot.
