After 35 years of marriage, in July 10th of 2017 my wife went home to be with the Lord after a head on collision, I had never heard this song. As a Pastor The Holy Spirit came to me after leaving the emergency room and told me to Preach the following Sunday and to tell the church " He was Still God!" Two weeks later in my weeping, grieving and worshiping moment at 5:00am I turned on TH-cam looking for a worship song and music and I saw "God on the Mountain" first i heard Linda Randall sing it, when she finished I scrolled down and I saw Jason Crabb, I listen to him singing this song and ! I knew The Lord was confirming his love to me and my church congregation. I wept then and still weep as brother Crabb's anointed voice ministers through the computer into my living room and heart. Everywhere I go to minister I now sing this song as a living testimony.
For the God on the mountain, is still God in the valley. Indeed He is, no matter the circumstances of our personal life or the world around us God is always in control!
I was driving an 18 wheeler down the freeway . I heard this song and suddenly I burst into tears. I cried and the sadness ripped through my soul but within that pain there was comfort and power and love. It was the Holy Spirit holding me up in my hurt. He is God in the day and in the night. He is love eternally.Bless His name.
