He is too serious and intellectual for the way he's dressed...that is not Morten's personality. That look is not him.
I agree. This look makes me cringe. It’s so….so…what’s the right word? Playgirl pinup or something? He was really used as an object for most of the band’s existence. I wonder if this was really his idea, the music industry’s idea, or what they figured the fans wanted? Very sad if it’s the last part. I always have a hard time when I see him dressed like this. It feels beneath him. One video that really makes me cringe is the second version of “Dark is the Night”. The original made sense. The song is about them wanting to break the binds from the music industry so they could be their true selves. There is a scene where they show Morten trying to escape from the inside of the “fake” version. It was banned in places and replaced with one showing up close shots of Morten’s bare chest and close ups of his crotch. He’s moving around and posing like it is a Playgirl video instead of a serious song. Women leave some really crude comments. Makes me want to throw up. This stuff is just for women to ogle him, not for people to appreciate his real actual talent of singing. Totally follows him to this day. 😞

You are so so sooo right! Omg, the clarity of his voice, the beautiful notes, how he can go from a pretty long high note, right into that even higher note, that he holds for at least 20 seconds, then onto ANOTHER HIGH NOTE! 😲 You can both hear & feel his passion, like you were saying, & he'll actually manage to bring involuntary tears to my eyes! Kinda like the 1st time I ever saw Shamu at Sea World! ☺️ That was sooo moving, to me, the way the trainers had a bond with those HUGE beautiful animals & they actually listened to eachother! I had NO idea why I was crying, at the time...now I understand it a little better, tho, & Morton can make me do that, too! & he's simply so effing beautiful to look at, & sooo hot & sooo sexy! God blessed him with sooo much, AND HE/THEY, are just plain good people, who actually deserve WAYYYY MORE RECOGNITION THAN THEY'VE GOTTEN! TALENT IS JUST OOZING ON THAT STAGE! This is my favorite concert. That really cute little girl...adult 😁...has 1 hell of a beautiful, powerful voice, as well, & they harmonize so well, each bringing out the best in the other!!! I was in my 20's, when Take On Me was released, but I was listening to classic rock...wasn't called that quite yet, then, 🤪 but I'd heard their song & LOVED IT, & The Sun Always Shines on TV, but that was IT! I never even knew about their hit MTV video, cause I rarely watched TV back then, so I REALLY MISSED OUT! I LOVE his low tones, the best, but they're ALL AWESOME!!! Simplesmente um dos melhores agudos em música que já ouvi nessa vida, o Morten nasceu pra isso, enfeitar as letras das canções do A-HA, e ninguém jamais fará algo parecido, Very best A-HA, privilegio de quem ouve essa beleza de canção, pq com certeza não deixará de ouvir.
Pode falar quem quiser não existe bandas melhores, do que as bandas dos anos 80 até hoje fazem sucesso.
