Marie is speaking the truth. As Haitians, we are ready to see a new Haiti. For decades Haitian politicians have purposefully kept Haiti undeveloped and poverty-stricken; while they provide circumstances for individuals and other nations to reap Haiti’s benefits. We are a nation full of history, Haiti should have been one of the top tourist destination in the Carribean; instead, our country is best known for it’s gang violence. Voilence created by selfish individuals and entities wanting to enrich themselves while keeping the nation at its knees.

Haitians as a people are suffering from PTSD. They do want to learn and grow but not at the cost of losing their Cultural Identity. Yes they learn to accept the abnormal to survive; at the same time we do not want to be removed from the future like so many that came before us. I ask Bawon Sa’m Di to protect y’all on this mission and to guide y’all. Lakou Aboudja voye di nou, Ayibobo.

Marie is so real, so on point. I have spent my entire life working with people, trying to raise their standards and getting so much push back because people in certain circumstances see it as their comfort zone and see change as hard work. ❣❣Much love and respect to you Bro Coop and our Queen Sister Marie. Marie, please understand when you hear our people say we don't date or marry them it's not about hate, hate has nothing to do with it because many of us go to school, work, play and socialize with them nearly every day of our lives. You've lived here in the states, so you know how it goes, and so we don't condemn those type of relationships, but we don't promote it either, because we understand that it may not be all of them, but enough out there who still want to get rid of Black African people, AND THERE ARE TWO WAYS THEY CAN GO ABOUT IT' They can bleed us out by killing us off by any means necessary. OR they can breed us out like they do in Latin America where too many African people don't know they're Black, and when we tell them they are, they deny it. We are just trying to exist as African people, and that bothers a lot of them, they like us better when they have us all mixed up

And she’s right Jamaica and DR don’t look no better than Haiti, they’ve just made it more of a tourist attraction and so for that they’re gonna show the glamorous. As far as danger, they might be on the same level too, Jamaica beg too damn much, DR look like they go drug and rob you!

It's undeniable that foreign meddling has held Haiti back, but for Haiti to truly rise there needs to be accountability for actions done by Haitians that have kept the nation back. Too many people, private sector and public, have only been looking out for their own interests. It's so deeply embedded in the mentality. Dessalines wasn't killed by foreigners. Haiti's problems didn't begin when France forced "reparations" to recognize independence. Until we have a business class and political class who recognize this, assume responsibility and stop looking only to line their own pockets at the expense of the poorest of the poor, nothing will change. That has nothing to do with France, USA, Canada, etc. If 'l'union fait la force" what does "la division" make? There's a terrible crab mentality. People will destroy their own family members out of jealousy. That also has nothing to do with foreigners. So even with all the foreign reparations and intervention in the world, until there's true change in the hearts of the people, powerful and powerless alike, nothing will change.

What has French done for Haiti other than being used as a tool to divide people into social classes. She is doing a great service to her country and her people teaching them English. French language is useless!

God has a plain for you . That is your calling to help people. It just so that you had to go through a through time before you find your purpose 😢. Your story is similar to one man in the Bible . Keep doing what you are doing . God is with you ❤
