I always wonder if artists know the impact their songs have on their fans. This brings to mind years ago when I was a child in a broken home. I would sit in my room and listen to Eminem. I remember hearing Sing for the Moment:

It always helped me remember that all that bullshit was temporary and I could make something of myself if I could endure it. I did endure, and I did make something of myself. I hope all artists know they have that power. "Believe" is hitting a similar chord now, all these years later. There's something good left in me, somewhere, and I hope everyone that hears this realizes that there's good in them, too. Find that shit, and use it to help people.

Guys, I had some depressions too and it wasn't easy for me, because my grandfathers died, my girlfriend left me and I was on an bad school, but not everything is lost, even when it seems like it is.
I told myself that I won't run away or kill myself before I've done something in my live and won't throw it away.
I worked really hard in school and now I'm about to get an good job and everything went better.
So guys I just wanted to tell you about it because I want these people to see that not everything is hopeless.

But what he doesn't know is that in half the songs might sound fierce, but the story behind them are very sad. Whenever I'm playing a game and someone says for someone to kill themselves I always say "Suicide isn't funny... How would you like it if someone made fun of you to the point of insanity and making bad choices?"
