I have the Skylight and it does not show fuzzy bars on the sides. In fact, it will show two photos at once much like the Aura. I don't recall doing anything special during my setup, so not sure why this guy got a different result. Meanwhile, I couldn't care less about the unboxing experience. I threw the box away after opening. I didn't see a need to add a hard copy photo to the box and save it for keepsakes. Anyway, a great review.

I made an old school photo album for my daughter and wife 360 photos chosen from thousands.. i put on an usb thumb drive and an sd card also ... i wanted to plug those int a frame and install ontoo onbard memory or at minimum play from memory cards... please help .i bought a kodak and returned it cause it sucked .... please recommend amd thankyou and happy new years !

Good god, if you're comparing models then compare similar models. Two frames can be switched from portrait to landscape mode (which is a big deal), but one can't (Aurora). But there is a model of Auro digital frame than can switch from portrait to landscape...
Will Pexar allow upload/add photos in the App before delivery as a gift?
Not that I am aware of. It is my understanding that you need to sync up the frame to the app.
Which one has the best picture in your opinion?
the aura and pexar have good image quality, however the aura is very reflective while the pexar has a matte finish and doesn't reflect light.

Rating the "unboxing experience?" Do you have any idea of how that sounds to customers who buy products for what products do, not for the box in which they arrive? And why do you sound excited by time and weather cluttering the screen, when both appear on your phone? Are your priorities all "gee whiz?"

I personally like the Mason, and yes you can easily add photos from your iphone through the app

I wish we could just sync our Amazon Photos or Google photos to the frame. That would be much easier than having to add the photos manually.

Both would be good choices. I do feel like the pexar is more fluid and I like how it fills the entire screen with the images. I do kind of like how the aura does side by side on photos that don't fit the screen.
Can you email photos to all of these frames? We are buying one for my grandma and she won't be able to load any photos onto it. I would like to be able to easily load photos remotely.
You can email photos to the aura and skylight but no the pexar. The pexar is the only one that you can add images with an sdcard though and you can give multiple people access to the frame so different people can upload photos remotely.
I bought a skylight for my Aunt far away, great picture quality and loved to email new pictures to her . Not a fan of a yearly membership for advanced options also no mention at all of extra charges if so many pictures sent.

Why not just get something like a Nest Hub, or Pixel Tablet?
That would be fine, but I like that i can choose the exact photos i want to send to a digital frame vs all photos from my camera roll just showing up on a google connected device.

Can we finally be honest about the Aura? Despite all the rave reviews, I don't care how well it works or well it's made, if they go under or if you don't have wifi, it's landfill trash as it literally will not work without wife / their cloud services. POS.
