Both look great, but I can understand why some people don't like the glossy look of DOA6. IMO DOA5 has a more distinct look in the mouth/lips area - most noticeable with Momiji. For 5 and 6 they shoved all the polygons that they had into the characters' faces. :P I hope in DOA7 the stages also get some love again and will have better details/design/shaders.
DOA6 steals the power of personality, most evident in prominent personalities like Momiji, who also comes from the Ninja Gaiden series where she has her own developed story
@@petr_ix I haven't played DOA 6 but after seeing some screenshots and gameplay footage it's not something I want to get into, I'm content with DOA5 Last Round.
There's something magical about Tina and Nyo's DOA faces that look super beautiful. Something about the tech in the eyes make them look extra attractive. God I wish they could come back to fighters, make it female exclusive with date mechanics I don't care I just wanna play my waifus again. AND TAG MODE!!!

DOA5 for me, I don't know why but it just looks more polished while DOA6, kinda looks more anime like, cartoonish. Just saying

DOA6 can't beat it, as DOA5 does a much better job of showing the strength of character personality, while DOA6 is just plain shiny
