Where was this on Lake Erie? Michigan,Ohio,PA,NY,Canada? What port did you go out of how far & what FOW any info would be appreciated. I have never iced fished before thinking of maybe trying it this year. I have fishing license for all of Lake Erie except PA & NY

gamagatsu, owner, or any japanese made hooks are pretty much go to and stay sharp
