Yeah.... only Infantry Regiments have Anti Fortification grenades, Trench Raiders and Flamers don't sadly. Also got to love how the regiments are not as Fluid as one would hope when hoping between trench networks. (like you can see them streaming toward the trench, turn around and assume formation.... WHY?!) Many, Many minor flaws and annoyances aside, Still a good game. Really rings home that WW1 experience. Now, if only I had any Confidence in Creative Assembly to make something EVEN REMOTELY as good as this in Total War, it might even make up for that 100m dollar Money pit known as Hyenas. Edit: If I remember right Trench Raiders are supposed to be really good vs tanks if you can get them close to them that is.
I mostly only use the infantry in campaign due to the low cost to be honest so I never got to learn the other units too well. The movement between trenches has always been a bit buggy, but it’s definitely improved from release, just never quite got as smooth as you’d want. A darn good game nonetheless. I’d love to see a ww1 total war, though I doubt the day would ever come. Be a whole lot of trench development on the campaign maps for that and constant sieges. But totally worth it!
good battle
Cheers. Final one for now unfortunately, might get lucky with some dlc, but back to the grindstone that is total war till then.
