@@con5419 Eh. Dogs are definitely smarter than housecats. Animal intelligence is more about being suited for their role than understanding abstract geometry theorem or some shit. I wouldn't be surprised if Messi is as intelligent as those german shepherds. But you have to remember, dog intelligence goes far beyond these simple training classes. k9, drug sniffing, bomb sniffing, support dogs, etc etc. Dogs do so much for us, there's no need to belittle them.
Dogs are social animals, they see you as part of their pack. Treat them with love and respect and they'll return that love and will even defend you with their lives. Cats are different, they're typically solitary creatures except for certain breeds. All housecats are semi-domesticated, you can never fully domesticate a cat no matter the breed or size. It is a nurture vs. nature thing with cats. Some can become very dependent on their owners. They'll follow you around the house and if you aren't in the room when they wake up from a nap they'll wander the house crying as they look for you. Others will be content to be on their own until they get in the mood for cuddles.
