and I thought I was tripping, because TH-cam closed on me while opening the video and then it was gone. But I knew I saw Kunka Ghostship with Witch Doctor spells hahah good one

Maledict works very well with items/skills that prevent healing
AA's ult or Spirit Vessel makes for a terrifying combo,
spell amp items/skills are also great additions if your team can afford them
imagine if the enemy you put maledict on could restore their health and get healed every maledict burst tick

Thank you a lot, I've waiting for this video. I used to use maledict when the enemy has loss of lot percentage of their health thinking that will amplify the damage they will take (killing secured) LOL

Sounds to me that reducing their healing is the best thing for Maledict. Man, if only Witch Doctor had a spell that does set damage per second while also healing per second. Oh well, guess we had better keep skipping heal for more levels in Maledict. :)

Good to know it's current health, not max, which makes sense but the healing over current completely negating burst damage is good to know.

This is certainly a more complicated way of implementing such a spell. But because of how it's coded, I never realized how effective healing was at reducing maledict damage. That is definitely something useful to know and will save lives in the future.
Yup, if enemy is half HP when you used Maledict and the enemy heals above that then Maledict wont do damage besides the base DPS it does.
Might stop early deaths against a WD lane knowing this fact. Gonna have to experiment though.
@@NinjapowerMS hard to overpower maledict when usually you just run away to take less damage lol. Thats what makes WD hard to lane, you cant trade.
@@Doflaminguard Nah I'm thinking of maybe I can save myself instead of trading. Sometimes you just have to fight back and let your carry get that kill and risk yourself to Male. Maybe a combination of Faerie/Lotus? Who effing knows.
That is the only thing i know from this ability when laning against him i always eat my tango or used other healing item/ability early to minimal the damage taken

Shadow demon aplies basic dispel.
If so u can dispel it by manta.
But maledict cannot be dispeled by any dispell even strong ones
fav spell since they removed remote mines

I wonder how something like maledict works with an Armlet, I remember Witch Doctor doing some nasty stuff to Naix or Huskar if done properly but I assumed that was just them toggling off at a bad time, would it reduce damage if you toggled it on every burst?
Yeah since you gain 400 HP. But maledict will still do more damage because it has a base DOT and Armlet turned on also drains your HPm
