Very well thought out layered system. Mine is almost identical minus the AR. I run a C39V2 AK. I also run a serpa right hand drop leg for my Glock 17 with two spare mags. The leg holster is attached to my pants belt not my battle belt belt so that even if I had to drop all of my layers I would still have a gun. I run a molle camelpack on the back of my plate carrier and a small backpack. Very nice sir!
Im shocked you loaded the AR and not the AK, lol!!! I'm gonna have a similar load out in the truck, and a slightly upgraded bag in the house. I actually have a Mayflower plate carrier in each bag. I'm contemplating loading each bag with either a chest rig or the battle belt. If I'm not mistaken I've seen you run both, but you seem to favor the chest rigs.
Sir, a most excellent video, of great insight indeed. Thank you Sir for sharing you information with us. On one of the sides of the bag, you showed two (2) 30-round magazines, and something else, but you didn't show the contents of the opposite side of the bag. Am I to presume that both sides of the bag, are identical in capacity? Thank you Sir, once again, for your help, and especially for the great video.
CB, Great video! I like your no nonsense approach! Very well organized! Do you have more info on the plate carrier company (your first plate carrier)? Thanks. CW
I'm working on my body armor that covers chest, stomach, back, and sides It's mostly target steel impact foam and nylon And it weighs about 20 pounds and I can do sit ups in it due to my cuts I and joints I added. It takes a 7.62x39mm lighty but the bullet spawls are a bitch to work around without adding more weight. I don't think I'll ever use it for anything but a show piece actually, cuz it's so heavy and hot to wear
I do not recommend steel, any type. I have talked to many people about this and the general real life knowledge of how it works in battle is not good. Ricochets are not if but when and a few people have seen buddy injuries from using steel and bullet deflections, etc. I stick to stuff like DKX and Grey Ghost type of plates.
CaptainBerz Good to hear your perspective. I appreciate it. Makes sense to me. Gonna have to check those out. It's about time I get off the fence and pull the trigger on a set. So to speak.
strong like monkey Armored Mobility Corp, TAC3S plates. Highly rated and reviewed, proven plates. SAPI cut, multi hit plates, weigh 7.5 lbs per plate. $675 per stand alone plate.
Quick Question......do you keep this in the truck or house? If you kept this or something very similar to this in the truck/car, would you also keep a separate "72 hour go bag" with it? Part of me think it's over kill, but at the same time only makes sense to me.
CaptainBerz I was thinking about getting a second one. I think I got the display model since mine runs very loosely, so not much pressure and the blade deploys. Great vids btw.
Just watched this video, love your kit. A little constructive criticism: they’re not M-4 mags, they are AR-15 mags. They anti gunners get simple terminology wrong all the time. We need to be careful and accurate when we talk guns
The minority of the minority of people like us actually make a video... we are in the tens of thousands those of us who are ready...if shit goes down we know who our “ friends” are and will defend our family and our freedom !!! We are everywhere !!
Gas mask and entrenching tool. Get them. $800 worth of body armor does you no good if you're caught in toxic fumes from a chemical fire. Or tear gas. Or actual nerve and blood agents from an armed force. When that happens, you'll really wish you had that $30 gas mask.
Not if its phosgene gas from burning plastics and insulation. Or tear gas. Or Chlorine gas, which is remarkably easy to make. Even low level exposures of GB nerve gas or blood agent - agents in gaseous or aerosol form may be light enough to be stopped by ordinary rain gear, but still deadly if inhaled. By your logic, there's no sense in carrying a first aid kit, because a bullet to the head will kill you instantly.
This vid makes me want to buy yet another bag....and some plates....and carrier......and that patch was pretty cool too!
I know right? I watch these videos and I end up spending a shit ton of money all of the time! hahaha
Great setup Captain!! Thanks for sharing.
Great stuff brother. Thanks for sharing
Great video. Looking forward to part two.

Nice setup...

What plates do you prefer for your carriers? Seems to be getting pretty confusing out there between the coated steel vs ceramic.

CaptainBerz how bout the ar500 plates that have the spalding coating to stop ricochets and fragmentation?
strong like monkey Armored Mobility Corp, TAC3S plates. Highly rated and reviewed, proven plates. SAPI cut, multi hit plates, weigh 7.5 lbs per plate. $675 per stand alone plate.
video coming on the way of the gun sling?
Hey Berz, which battery holders are those? Thanks.
Anyone know where I can find the ASO bag in black in stock ?
Plus if your are gonna be grabbing the minute man bag you can also grab your ruck right next to it if you need to

YenzHouse Nothings really overkill, imo.
CaptainBerz True...
How do you like the Applegate? Does the clip get in the way of your gear?
Disturbed2K7 Does not get in the way. I might stipple mine to get a bit more traction, that is my only complaint...
CaptainBerz I was thinking about getting a second one. I think I got the display model since mine runs very loosely, so not much pressure and the blade deploys. Great vids btw.
Can you buy the side panels that hold the m4 mags separate? If so where and what brand. Thanks.
S Molinar Side panels on the ASO Bag? Not sure I understand the question, sorry.
My fault on the plate carrier, i believe it is called the Mars plate carrier.
Where do you keep your other gear.clothing. survival gear
Clothing is clothing. I do not really designate stuff gear clothing or survival clothing, etc.
GOOD VID DUDE.... AND GOOD CONCEPT....
LIVE FREE
dam Berz.. nice set up... lots of dough
So why a red dot over something like an acog?
Sure, use what you want. 👍
Where do you buy your ifak materials?
Tactical Medial Solutions, Amazon
Thanks
Did you serve in Kunar during OEF CaptainBerz ?
No
so... where is part II? just wondering? ...
Bootlicker
is that the marz active shooter plate carrier
Marz Tactical, Love It!
For rain gear think frog togs
Looks awesome but to heavy to go to Starbucks! For real,if I have to transport something like that the thing will need wheels!
Good for if you have to travel to the fight or for outfitting a buddy. If "working" from home, yes, pointless.
Wheels and internal combustion engine
Not a backpack? How you expect to carry your gear?drag it behind you?
+Michael Rigdon 3:08 in the video. Guess you didnt listen to everything he said.
I see what you did there lol 7:16
what are the chem lights for?? I see them on people's gear all the time but I don't get what their for.
yankeewhite Tons of stuff. Could be just a light, marking rooms or areas for one thing or another, illuminating a room, distraction, etc..
ok various general needs got it. I thought I might be missing something specific. thanks
Another settlement needs your help

Not really. Pmags state “for ar-15, m4”…I don’t care about tip toeing.

+T.J. McFadden if you need a gas mask then you probably need a full NBC kit.
