I hit the 5 month wall myself this weekend.. two is such a blessing but such hard work. Sleep deprivation and not feeling enough for my two year old while looking after baby is taking its toll. My daughter and son are similar ages to yours too 🥰 my lad is 13 months and I didn’t sleep train him, I also couldn’t bare to upset him BUT now he still doesn’t sleep through the night (and still breastfeeds all night like a bloody newborn!) Glad you are home now!! And I know it would be so helpful with your mom there after Josh's procedure, but my husband just needed peas handed to him the first day, then after that he was good. I had a 5 year old and a 3 month old at home, no other help. Just a slow few days during that time. You got this momma!!!

The snip is no biggie really, my husband had his after I almost died having my 4th c-section. He was laid up for a few days on the couch with a seriously swollen & bruised "manhood" but get a couple bags of frozen peas! They make the best ice pack for that kind of surgery since they will conform all around the curves, lol. They are super cheap & just toss them after since clearly you dont want to eat something that has been in & out of the freezer. Even when my husband had his knee replacement, we used frozen peas instead of a regular ice pack. Ps. make sure he does his sperm checkups! My husband still had sperm present for a year after his surgery!

Hey Beech fam. Here’s a tip that helped us when our kids were dependent on us. We homeschool our kids so this mama rarely gets a break. If you can find a high school student who homeschools and loves kids, see if they can come to the house a few days a week to watch the kids while you’re at home working. Most times homeschool kids’ schedules are super flexible and they can babysit during the work day. It’s a great way to introduce someone new to the kids while you’re still at home to kind of observe how they get along with each other. Eventually, you may be able to use this babysitter more often & even be able to leave him or her there while you run errands or for date nights. Or better yet, take a nap during the day 😜! Whatever works right!
So happy you guys made it back to the states, safe and healthy,I finally! FYI - I found a really cool key ring on Amazon that is a bracelet that fits on your wrist. It also has a small coin/ credit card attachment for your ID, money, credit cards, etc. that would be perfect for you so that you won't forget your keys. With 2 kiddos and all the stuff you need for them the key chain might help you. It's right around $20. Tried to send a pic of mine but couldn't figure out how. Sorry. 👍🙏💖💙👍🙏
Going food shopping for a house of 9 people with infant twins and a 1 yr old, I sometimes came home feeling like Superman. Now being in bed with severe Covid, trying to verbally force the kids to do housework (since I'm isolated) and homework, and to stop arguing with each other, I don't even feel like Superman's tights. Nothing's being held together.
this is why i cannot have kids because sleep is the most important thing to me, i cannot function at all if i am tired lol. Hope it gets better! I am an auntie and I love it but I cant imagine parenting, that is the hardest job in the world imo. I love that you vlog your entire life though shenae, its so fun watching your family.
