- In my latest episode, i met with King Rovers, a Land Rover mechanic here in Nairobi who claims that Rovers are better than Land Cruisers. #landrovers #landcruisers
For some time now, Land Rovers have been on the receiving end of banter as they are considered as flatbeds. Oil Leakages, Weak suspensions and overheating has placed this UK company under heavy criticism.

I think my bro here is trying sell a land Rover where land cruiser dominated since way back,the most unreliable cars are Range sport and discos,from cooling system,engine, transmission and suspension,land cruiser owner will ask you why he/she should spend a fortune on a car that was manufactured the other day and yet he/she bought a land cruiser a decade ago no unreliability issues whatsoever,discos comfort I can't complain but comfort is not the engine or the transmission another thing is the electrical failures from module to module communications,maze Ogada reliability is the key......
Best thing he said is about reading a manual ---- one thing as Kenyans, we don't like reading 😅.
Currently Landrovers are only great of they are still new other wise Landcruisers still win especially when it comes to reliability
Boss gari ya kwenda kila mahali ni landrover 110 defender.discovery ,vogue can't cope driving on rough terrain. But defender 110 will go anywhere and land cruiser kj72 will serve you even better

I agree and in addition these European cars need extra care, complacency and ignorance will cost you. Overall, the land rovers are good cars ie. Luxury+speed+minimal body roll etc. Great advice

I love LAND ROVERS, especially the DISCO, coz as they SAY, the DIFFERENCE between the TWO, is that ONE, is just a "TOYOTA", and the other ONE, is the KING of LUXURY, or in other WORDS, not a CAR for ANYONE

Alll modern cars are complicated,it doesn't matter if it's from Europe,Japan, America,Korea or Italy.Mr Ogada is right,the off-road capability of Land Rovers is way superior than the Toyota Land cruisers.

Ogada you doing great job..However I disagree with you, Landcruiser are reliable cars than Landrovers according to me.Landrovers break easily, leakages,lots of sensors that makes reparing car difficult etc etc . especially range rovers that are fitted with Jaquar engine the 2.7 engine.Landrovers that are abit reliable are the ones that came with BMW engine.3.6 tvdv6, 3.0 M57 and 4.4 tv8The worst are the latest rovers p405 ,P510 shida tupu .But when when it comes to comfort range wins.what I think is Range rover P38 4.6 HSE produced in 1995 and classis were the only reliable cars actually British Finest and Range rover L322 3.0 M57. You cant compare Landcruiser 100 series the amazon, Landcruiser cygnus or Landcruiser 80 series with Discovery 3.
