Excellent shorti introductions to these amazing plugins! Thank you 1000x for creating this video! Would love to see how you'd use each in a slightly longer review.
One of the reasons I love Bitwig and Reaper is that they do 32bit as well as 62 bit plugins natively without having to use jBridger (which I have anyway)
Fun Fact (maybe?): Automaton looks like it has a working version of "Conway's game of life" running to power the modulation/sequencer matrix. Look it up, it's kinda awesome
Yea, some algorithm defining a simple few rules that govern the evolution of the modulation signal. I had another plugin that does precisely this. Can't remember what it was called.
some absolute gems here from a company who's been about far more than being the next big thing to spend your money on. good job bringing these to people's attention.
Thank you for taking the time for doing this.I have bought a few from AD and they are great.BigSeq2 and Dr Device are very interesting as you dig deeper.
To anyone using Reaper you can run even the 32 bit plugins, they will automatically run in bridged mode. Not 100% how other daws handle old plugins but I'm pretty sure bitwig will allow them to run too
For anyone wanting to use 32-bit plugins in a 64-bit environment: use jBridger and you can use the old plugins again. I use loads of vst's from Cubase 5 in Artist 11
My very special thanks. I have seen this chance before in other channel but as there was the warning some where 64 and others 32, also they don't specify. I decided to miss the chance. But as I am suscribed to your great channel, I received the notification and WAO you make all that work for us (I mean for me, but writting in the name of all). I have not installed yet but I think this SUITE of 27 AU components have a lot to give in quality and experimenting new EFX to our sounds. I do really thank so much. My compliments once again !!!
@@AudioTechTV Yep, I'm on it! It's been 39c the last couple of days, that's when I stay inside and do some mixing! Usually, I spend every daylight hour outside, but when it gets near the 40 mark, it's mixing time! 🙂
Hey dude, new subscriber. Thanks for the list, and just as importantly: I Love the Nine Inch Nails 'The Fragile' vinyl in the background! Fragility Tour 2.0 kicked ass
@@AudioTechTV Back atcha & Thanks for the reviews! I've been an AD fan since the 90's but there were a bunch in there I had not any idea what they did and I have been looking for a good Biphase clone - there it is in my plugins list 😅 You rock!
I got Fluid when it wasn't legacy yet, and then upgraded to its multi effect counterpart, Quatromod; Fluid was the first of only very few chorus plugins that I like. I generally think that chorus is done POORLY for whatever reason. Fluid sounds smoooth. Quatromod is the only thing I use anymore for phaser/flanger/chorus.
That's great and some of them are looking quite interesting. Unfortunately there are no information of the VST version. Cubase won't support VST2 in the next version anymore. So as a Cubase user it already doesn't make sense to install VST2 plugins if you want to make the update. Does anyone know?
Some of these plugins don't show up in Logic, but they show up in Reason and Ableton Live. Not sure why, but it's not a big deal...just a bit odd since I'm on Big Sur on an M1 Mac Mini and all plugins are 64 bit and they are in Reason and Ableton Live. Maybe I need to reinstall the plugins.
@@karmaindustrie at the start of the video I said I was only going to look at the ones that are 64 bit. Most people have switched to 64 bit now which is why I wanted to look at those. MangleVerb will be similar to Deverb and I really don’t know much about Mayhem. But if you still use 32 bit plugins give it a try and see what it does. The name makes it sound pretty cool. Lol.
Thanks a lot ! I downloaded them and wasn't sure if to check them out because of the 32bit restriction on some... so nice that you showed which one you can use on todays DAWs.
Question: I installed the plugins, but i want to uninstall some of them. But all i see are the ddl file's, does anyone know where i might find the uninstall files... I'm on windows 10, thx in advance
I think there was one that had an AAX option. I can’t remember which one now. Their site suggests that they are all VST 2 so I didn’t want to mention that lone AAX just in case it doesn’t work.
Typically when something starts with "I mean no offence" something terrible follows but this wasn't terrible. lol. I would love to be in a Jurassic Park movie! Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
@@AudioTechTV granted, I don't like long videos, and presenting 30 plugins in 10 minutes, in a better way, is probably impossible, but I could need more info than just the name. It can do so much. imho it's the most worthwhile of the bunch. If you like it, too, it would be great to watch a video on its capabilities.

I got my hands on Vapor and Automaton. They may be old and no support for new stuff anymore but they are freaking amazing.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS... especially as a mac user, just the fact you sorted the ones that are 64bit apart is a godsend.
Glad you enjoyed the video. I hope you find some useful plugins from these. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
Thanks for reviewing the 64 bit versions. Now I know which 2 I want to download.
Quick and complete demo of the now free VST. Thanks Z.

Oh my Lord, these are blast from the past. I forgot they existed, but I am downloading them RIGHT NOW
IMO you saved the best one for last. Grabbing it now, I don't have a diffuser plugin and it sounds like it really gives the sauce

Not under MacOS. No 32 bit binary runs under current versions of MacOS.

Wow, I still have that Radio Shack chorus/delay thing somewhere. It made terrific distortion sounds when I hooked it up to the MG-1.

What about Mayhem and Deverb?
Are they 64 bit? I know Deverb was replaced by mangleverb so I don’t think they updated it to 64 bit. I thought Mayhem was only 32 bit.
@@AudioTechTV I mean what does Mayhem do as effect? I thought it's not a criteria to be 64 bit in order to be presented in your list.
