If you ever give airsoft a try, I’m super confident you’ll love it. Really enjoy watching your videos as well dude. Thanks for pickin’ another of mine to react to! Cheers!
When paintball first started 20 years or so ago I went up against a swat team that was extremely cocky playing agaisnt kids with rental guns... they were equiped with amazing weapons, extra tanks and extreame air pressures!!! We were only supposed to be around a 100 psi, I seen later there were way past that limit!!! Yet I survived till I was the only person left and there was 3 of them... no boarders with an open forest, plenty of down trees and full summer greens, bushes ect... to hide for cover... but this team went into full press unfortunately the 1 member walked over me when I told him to surrender he turned on me to fire and I lit his NUTS UP!! So he screamed to the last 2 in his team, gave away my position and they shot me atleast 20 times a piece though I dropped my weapon and surrendered on the first hit... After that it was WAR, we turned up our pressures and laid into those ASSHOLES till they quit!! Fun day but man I was welted up from those old old paintballs that were comming from extreame pressures!!
I shot friendly guy yesterday. CQB playground. Me and my boys entering a hallway from a room. I go second to the left side, I see a guy aiming at us so I shoot him. Well he was a friendly kid as I found out he was mad LOL.He shoud have stayed in other room and wait until we got to that room to clear it and say something before we went in.
On the fields in Europe (mostly in the Netherlands) I've been to, friendly fire is a thing. The general rule seems to be "a hit is a hit". In matches with all skill levels friendly fire happens relatively often. You'd be surprised how many people cross right in front of your weapon while you're firing it.
@@roberto125919 That's the thing behind "a hit is a hit", it doesn't matter if it's friendly fire or not, you're hit. So you don't have to be able to tell. In my experience, most of the time you can tell it's friendly fire because it happens from close range. Friendly fire almost never happens because you can't distinguish friend from foe because on most fields there's a clear difference between the two teams, usually via brightly colored armbands. When it comes to matches with more experienced people they usually go with green camo vs brown camo.
love the one where the person complained he used auto in CQB, the response "That is not full auto 'pew pew pew' this is full auto 'brrrrrt'" Other player "fair enough"
If you play airsoft, train for it soon as possible. Best is to get used to it right at the beginning, but since you can train switching shoulders at home i strongly recomend. You will feel the usefullness once you get used to it and dont need to fear those left corners anymore!

this was a great reaction to watch. and I haven't seen all of the videos yet, but Dutch has the most honor and integrity I've ever seen. His vids are the tutorials for airsoft, and the best way to see how much fun the sport is. I will be watching the original video soon as well.
I love matches like these. Though I have neither of the experience requirements for these matches, watching them still is fun because they actually know these maneuvers. As a person with moderate non-military combat training for about 4 years and being completely new to airsoft (but completely open to playing it as it should be played), I like to see less cheaters, but still love to see what can become of good training, despite the fact that there were still people who cheated.
Dutch has been playing airsoft for years and has played on speedsoft fields, which are close combat fields, which is what makes him so good at shooting into tight spaces
I watch these to learn serious lesson in tactics in training. The biggest one, always change levels or position. I love how he spots, and moves, spots and moves.
The reason he is so accurate is: 1. Skill (literally he is insane) 2. He runs some of the most expensive AEG/HPA components you can buy. Umbrella Armouries are pretty much the best airsoft guns you can buy but they do make your wallet very light.

I love Dutch. This is the most anger I’ve ever seen him have, and it’s honestly not bad at all. I’d have said way worse lmao. But yea Dutch is one of the main reasons I’d like to get into airsoft myself.
My call outs and movements are all like that and all I do is play games. I’d do this if I physically could but this is a blast to watch and I could only imagine it for real.
Friendly fire comes down to the field rules. Some have it, some don't. One place that was near me had an indoor arena and an outdoor field. They had it friendly fire on for the field but not the arena since a lot of the less experienced or younger players liked to play in the arena.
Just recently stumbled onto your videos and see you’re thinking about getting into the Airsoft community. For a prior service member I think you might be really interested in MilSim West. They are a company that is based on the west coast, and they put on some of the best war sim events. Including blank fire, live pyrotechnics, objective, and high intensity game play. The events are usually 40 hours long lasting all weekend. However, it is a bit pricey to own all the gear you’d need for the event so going on weekends for pickup games and things like that would be great to get you started. Wide range of variety to the different guns. Electric offering you probably the most affordable options then gas operated are probably the next step up, but are the most realistic. Basically replacing gun powder with gas. And then HPA the step up after that. I personally recommend HPA as I’ve had so many issues with electric. Gas guns are also decent but the magazines can run upwards of 30 dollars or more. HPA are very reliable and easy to maintain. The newest model polar star kit doesn’t even require a battery, just air, and involves only a few moving parts. Hope this comment helps you out in the future. Feel free to contact me if you’d like any more info. Been in the game for 12+ years now
I never knew airsoft was so big and serious. My friends and I used to just chase each other around the woods and shoot at each other...but these people are extreme man.

Also, the guy not wearing sleeves is Dutch's buddy Alfonse, who also has a channel. He is usually wearing full kit, but sometimes he just rocks a tanktop and shorts if the day is too hot to be running around with a 15 pound airsoft gun and 5 pound hpa tank

I often wore short or no sleeves when playing paintball because it helped me keep cool, meant my visor didn't for up as much. Not a huge difference, but one I was willing to get a few scratches and bruises for.
I always tell the kids (adults mostly) think about that awesome shot you had today... Now think about if the person didn't call the hit. That moment would be gone. Don't take that away from someone and call your hits.....
Just a heads up, if you see a hose running to someone's gun and it sounds more crisp when it shoots, it runs on HPA (High Pressured Air) instead of a battery. They are much more precise and have a much faster fire rate. If you hear someone call a gun a polarstar then it's HPA. They also sound a lot less electronic.
If you like airsoft stuff and you haven't seen his videos yet, I also recommend Kicking Mustang. He does some insane sniper shots and his ghille suit is phenomenal.
friendly fire is handled by each field individually, some (few cases) don't care, most just tell you to go back to spawn, and some even have a buddy system, where you basically take the guy that shot you back to spawn, so both of you have to get out of the game for a few seconds.
Just a tip if your out and about to go to respawn, say dead man around corners or someone might accidentally shoot you trying to shoot someone else. And get eye protections not a mesh one since bbs can break and go into your eye.
Yes, friendly fire is on in Airsoft, but depends on the fields rule, sometimes they will have the one who's conduct friendly fire respawn and sometimes the victim is the one who's respawn
There are different FF rules across dofferent fields. Many times it is just on, so a hit is a hit. Sometimes rule says both have to go back to the spawn (shooter and the friendly that got hit), sometimes only the shooter needs to go back to the spawn. Always depends, but mostly it is just played with FF on
The guy with no sleeves I'm pretty sure is airsoft alfonse and that's just his thing. Also I've played without sleeves before and yes the bare skin shots leave Mark's and possibly scares but don't hurt that much more the with sleeves. I go sleeveless to stay cool on hot days.
Friendly fire varies from field to field, at the field I usually go to it's on, others it's not, and some have a rule that if you shoot a friendly you take a respawn.
I have played airsoft for many years (since Tokyo marui was the only company and guns came from Japan) and after a while I got over being upset at cheaters, if they cam take constantly getting shot then I am more than happy to keep shooting them.
You should probably check out Airsoft GI if you're getting into airsoft. they have memes and tips. even a series called Roast my Build where people send images of their weapons to the host who will either talk shit about it or compliment it. or send off to the mayo gang. One of their tip videos is actually very realistic. it's about how to engage in CQC when entering a room and there are some military veterans who complimented them on their tactics in that video.
In the US, I have never encountered a field where friendly fire isn't a thing. "Ricochets," however don't count as BBs bounce around alot more and in a lot different way than bullets.
I know im late to the party but the guy with no sleeves is alponse. Another great airsofter who always lugs around an lmg of some type. Also recommend his videos!
Friendly fire is a thing in airsoft for sure :p In Belgium it's the rule that (in most of the fields), if you friendly fire, you go to respawn instead of the one you shot.
FF rules depend on the field. Usually at more Speedsoft oriented fields (in my experience) FF does not matter, but in more casual or MilSim fields it's active
Friendly fire sucks even more in paintball just due to how much more painful the rounds are. I got shot by a dude having an issue during the staging phase and I got shot at nearly point-blank on my shoulder just cause the guy had zero trigger discipline and pointed the barrel at me trying to figure why his gun wasn't feeding properly.
Friendly fire is definitely a thing. My last game before quarantine an 8 year old was there with his dad wearing full military gear. His dad was helping him with a sniper and the kid shoots me right in the back of the head and I had to go all the way back to spawn. And he was on my team! The dad was nice tho and apologized
In Airsoft, Friendly Fire is on indeed, just need to be careful during the game. In a few associations, Friendly Fire can be disabled, as well as safety kills. I personally would play in an Airsoft playground with safety kills and FF on ( Friendly Fire for short )
You should try airside at some point they also do massive events with certain goals as you would imagine Ps: I found your vids three days ago and I love them keep up the good work
Surprised you haven't been watching Kicking Mustang's videos. A British airsoft sniper - he takes his sniper work pretty seriously in terms of kit and ability. And he's pretty damn good.

6:32 nice jar i like the detail on it
Friendly fire is definitely a thing.
You should try airside at some point they also do massive events with certain goals as you would imagine
Ps: I found your vids three days ago and I love them keep up the good work
Dutch is one of the more prime examples on how fun/enjoyable airsoft is.
Surprised you haven't been watching Kicking Mustang's videos. A British airsoft sniper - he takes his sniper work pretty seriously in terms of kit and ability. And he's pretty damn good.
Friendly fire is always on and it's the most annoying thing ever.
