Tbf, no one's guessing that password.
Knowing Richie, that would've been like my 3rd guess
I know where that is from: Michael Mann's redo of Miami Vice as a movie with Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx.
I've seen debate about it but I think shorter sentences for passwords are great.
"How's it not making you insane?"
"I don't mind it."
God, I love how real Carmy is.
He's really numb to chaos. That noise could make him sleep. A mom like that would make any guy numb.
That’s just chefs in general. Loud repetitive noises and chaos don’t really phase you after a while.
honestly anything being consistent, you can get used to it
I loved how Sydney was proud of herself and smiled that she nailed her part of the presentation .LOL
I love that her presentation voice isn't her regular voice 😂
The smile at the end says it all……..👍
Unfortunately, I disagree; The credit to nailing this presentation, goes to Natalie. She is a ROCKSTAR 💯
Ayo absolutely nailed the bad-Kickstarter-pitch delivery. Pure gold.
Dude really paid 800k for a banana
Underrated comment 😂
Nostalgia is under appreciated
💀
Its the sentimental value
correction, it was a chocolate covered banana, & it made him shed a tear 😂😂😂
We all need an uncle Jimmy in our lives.
Willing to help (if you don't ask too many questions), but also willing to bust your balls to remind you he's got your number.
My Dad is kind of an Uncle Jimmy. Doesn’t swear as much, but he seldom tells you what you want to hear but always what you need to hear.
I was waiting for Uncle Jimmy to become a main antagonist of the show, but I think it became clearer as the show went on that Jimmy never had any intention of taking their restaurant.
Jimmy is the hidden protagonist because he loves Carmy, Sugar and Richie because they are family
@@richardarce6287 Kind of is if you think about it. Jimmy was friends with their father, so he's been around for a long time. Guy is a co-partner of KBL, and the most well adjusted character who acts like a fatherly figure to them all.
Yes! He had all the ingredients of being an antagonist & it turns out he's in their corner 100% no matter what.
The actor playing Uncle Jimmy does not get enough credit - perfectly plays the older uncle from Chicago/Midwest ("Da Bears" kinda vibe). Unreal to learn the dudes canadian.
Oliver Platt is a veteran in showbiz, you have to check out his other work. He was in the original Flatliners and The Three Musketeers with Charlie Sheen and Kiefer Sutherland, a guilty pleasure of mine.
He was also in Miami vice. Love him❤❤
Same. Not only does he have the best Chicago accent out of any of them but he also has the temperment right. He’s so believable. Richie (Moss-Bachrach) has the accent but he acts much more like he’s from the East Coast than like someone from Chicago.
He's the veteran actor in the room. On the other hand, Jamie Lee Curtis murdered it.🤣
Goddamn Oliver Babish from the WW too.
"heard and resented" 😂
Love the main 3 and Uncle Jimmy but Richie’s banter made this scene
"HEARD IT AND RESENT IT!!"
Kevin McCalliper
gofastboatsmojito
All in one word. gofastboatsmojito all in one word.
I love how Richie who’s in another room with a blaring alarm going off can hear when he’s not considered a cousin 😂
Uncle Lee Layne. Fork that guy
yeah he was a total dipshit
😂
Dawnt thraw fawkse.Dadadadadada!!!
🤣🤣🤣
Incredibly surprised FX didn't get some of the actors to promo the show on places like First We Feast & other popular lifestyle/food channels. Personally my favourite show of 2023
writers strike is the reason
Agree. It sucks. I know people say writers strike but this show was out for a while. And promo gets filmed in advance.
Even in season one they did an abysmal job of promoting this show. It got popular because of a viral tweet smh
This show is absolutely amazing and deserves every Emmy and TV award out there. Especially season 2 episodes 6 and 7!!!
Yep! Everyone everywhere needs to see this show. Top-tier cinema that's second to none. It's incredible to see such a fresh, original idea in the 2020's era!
They really dropped a 10/10 masterpiece episode and then were like, "you know what? Have another one right after"
Badass move
This aged beautifully! Just landed a bunch of golden globes and emmys!
@@GIBBO4182 I'm so happy for them. And the Emmy wins are for season 1 only. Season 2 is even better.
The "Fishes" episode and Ebon for his character arc in season 2 deserve everything!!!
@@lessthan12parsecs92 the best, most well written/acted show I’ve seen since early Game of Thrones. They will 💯 clear up next year for season 2 as well, I agree. Fishes and Forks are absolutely 2 of the best episodes of any show I’ve ever seen
One of my favorite unc quotes was:
“You wanna be the guy, Carmy? Then *be the fuckin guy!*
Wish you guys included the full scene, loved it when he goes "great partners ask great questions".
"Heard and resented" 🤣
gofastboatsmojito is gonna be my fantasy football name
It's mine in my fantasy league.
Kevin Mcaliber 😂😂😂 Richie is a legend
Mikey and Ritchie must be fiends for mojitos
I think it’s a Miam Vice movie reference
@@SolidMikePone of these mornings… it won’t be very loooong 🎶
The password being “gofastboatsmojito” is such an underrated joke.
I love the movie references in this season. Home Alone, Blues Brothers, Miami Vice, Bloodsport.
hearing Dr.Charles curse is throwing me off so hard.
Please upload some behind the scenes with the actors or some sort of roundtable interview with showrunners. That would be nice, thank you!
Fckn gofastboatsmojito… Miami Vice!!!!!
Extremely funny scene 🤣
I want to know the petting zoo story
Dr. Charles from Chicago Med.
You mean Jimmy King
@fightingchicken2009 yes, but I have seen actor Oliver Platt in Chicago Med before The Bear came out last year.
Post the fork scene
Love the fact that they’re all offended by mispronouncing the name of the main character from “Home Alone.”
he already counted the first bit of money as lost and he would have given them more if they asked for it, so it was a deal to him.
Cool I’m in 🤣🤣
Was that password a Miami Vice movie reference???
Yessir
I kind of want a BERF shirt.....
What up with Ritchies shirt? It says Berf, not beef.
I don't get it.
None times 😂
Can you post the walk-in scene
The walk-in scene?
@@ComedyBros5 Carmy gets stuck in the walk-in when the handle breaks
@@flrethlef Ohhh. If you had said “walk-in fridge/freezer, l would’ve understood. I saw “walk-in” and envisioned a scene where someone walked into a room. Haha
So his surname is different… so is he really their Uncle? They don’t say he isn’t but maybe he is the dad’s uncle or cousin but they are just close in age ??
He was their dad's best friend
To be clear in Chicago, we call each other cousin, nephew, uncle, brother, sister not always by blood. His name is “Jimmy Cicero”, which is actually a decent city west of Chicago. Which also means he’s not Italian but clearly has some juice. Nobody is called Jimmy Cicero in Chicago. You’d be laughed outta anywhere. Last thing I’ll say Oliver Platt is a great actor and this how any “Italian” (Pole or Serb) acts to do his thing.
Also just to be clear, Irish Swedish here.
@@JamesHegberg what makes you think hes not italian ?
@@miurtouissi1093 When his real name is mentioned when they’re chefs are pitching the new restaurant. It’s Polish, ends with ski.
Is there a main reason it's extremely hard to convince Uncle Jimmy sometimes just asking
Asking for 500,000 dollars on top of the 300,000 he had originally lent. Safe to say it would be difficult to ask anyone that, especially since they’ve never opened their own business before.
doesn't bother me
But how did Mikey store the money in the tomato sauce cans and have the cans appear closed and brand new?
When Carmy goes to see Richie in the basement, they cut to a shot of the can sealer Mikey used
Is uncle jimmy a mobster?
How fuckin rich is this guy? Do they say what he does for a living?
Just willingly drops 800k on a restaurant cause his niece and nephew asked nicely
Most likely a loan
I’m assuming the guy is somehow worth at least eight figures. At least that’s how much I’d have to have to casually invest close to a million on a restaurant without any guarantee of return
@@teejaydee85 Forget about making a profit. It's questionable whether he'll ever get any of his money back. So many restaurants go out of business in the first few years. He doesn't seem too concerned about it, though.
@@SoFloCo-ne4rk Yep, that’s exactly why I assumed he’s pretty insanely loaded
@@teejaydee85 Theory is that Cicero is at the very least outfit associated or adjacent, and the reason why he gave Michael the money was so he could wash it and make it clean cash. Personally, I think he knows a guy, who knows a few other guys, but nothing like Al Capone, just a few white collar crimes and quite the invest portfolio, and a once in a lifetime gambling streak.
Nat is always ridiculously fake when talking to his uncle Jimmy.
I am telling u now - Uncle Jimmy killed Mikey. Can’t wait for the s3 reveal
What is this take lmao
@@s.g.7572 I’m telling u. Jimmy has already said he has mob ties and thinks nothing of lending 300k. When he realised he wasn’t getting it back he threatened Mikey. Mikey fucked him over by leaving the restaurant to his brother and hiding the money for him. Maybe he committed suicide, maybe he was whacked to look like it. But Jimmy’s involvement is purely to get his money back. It will come out.
@@s.g.7572 Yeah what the hell
For what motivation? He didn't even get his money back.
@@queencleopatra007maybe to sell the restaurant and turn it into an apple bees like Carmy said in the first season, but yeah I don’t think he killed him for something that isn’t guarantee.
gofastboatsmojito
I’m going to start using that password 😂
What does it mean? I don't get the reference since I am not American.
@@taasinbinhossainalvi9173I think it’s a Miami Vice reference, that has a lot of speedboats and one of the characters says he’s a real fiend for mojitos
Irritating piece!
Um...what?
