Ah yes the old Reverse into Low into Hi trick. I learned that on an 826 in the early 90's. Had to do the same thing on the 1086 as well. That's a great tractor you have there and the field looks amazing.
I have only been around and used Farmall Super A’s and 140’s. Never been around one of IH’s big diesel’s like the 826. As good as it sounds using headphones, I can’t imagine what it would be like in person, especially in the seat. Thanks for sharing! Did notice at 9:40 hydraulic hoses dragging the ground. You may know it as well, just checking.
In my young years I worked on a farm for 3 years we milk 114 head of Holstein some jersey crosses . I hauled a whole lot of forage wagons Scofabs I believe they were hydro dump out the back . And alot alot of baling with that exact tractor . Love love farmall ❤
Now that you have your heavy duty Arsenal of tractors and equipment, your field work has never looked so good. Keep up those great videos, can't wait to see what you do next. Its great to see a farmer work with vintage equipment.
Best seedbed leveling/firming implement ever made in my opinion. Makes for an awesome planting surface. I still use mine now before drilling soybeans, and seeding my hayfields and cover crops. Really cuts down on the risk of broken cutterbar teeth when combining soybeans. For corn, I like my planting bed loose. So I run a cultipacker behind my disc followed by an old 4 section spike tooth harrow. Nothing new or fancy about my farm. Old school my way all the way. 👍🏽
Excellent video Geno :) , yes way doing your feild work same way my father taught me and then did all myself years after unless reasons want change for reasons but rare seen that! I drove the 1968 624 A German Desiel motor tractor 12 speed it too and Cultivator not sure company made it but red one was not sure but I know Hydraulic cylinder from John Deere similar to yours on setup! Red Power Boom 💥 👌 💪 ♥!
Pulling that cultimulcher in High 2nd that 826 hardly even knows its there ! I did the almost same thing when I was 14 years old on a 756 gas only we had a 14 foot vibro-shank that had a mounted harrow as that was the final phase before we planted . Hope you did not wear a hole in that hydraulic hose that drug ! hahaah Thanks for the entertainment as you are a TH-cam treasure !
Are you going with a white/red clover mix or just one kind? We still have our Kewanee culti mulcher. They do such a great job getting ground ready for seed, don't they? Can't wait to see how it comes up.
Good day FF Up here in Ont they would take a hay crop off & then work field rest of summer to kill weeds, les spray called "summer fallow" Being so late u could do that? Ths
What brand is your cultimulcher? Mine is about similar as yours but my wheel lifts are outside of frame. its rough I used it the first time this last spring. They are pretty handy for leveling out soils.
Its a shame it wasn't four weeks ago. Would make a beautiful bean field. But seeded down will do the ground a lot of good. Take care and stay cool Geno !!!
@@FarmallFanatic I can make money on $ 11.00 beans. If you have the right spring and get them in early to mid April it's a free 5 to 10 bushels . Can't always do it The earlier the better. Many guys are planting beans first now days.
Talk about living on the edge! Didn't throttle down and at the last second saved the muffler moving out of the way of that limb.
Been driving a long time 🤣
I can tell, but for a split second, I thought the new muffler was in trouble. 😂😂😂
@@duncand5148 not with me driving

German
Get 'er done!! Nice comfortable seat, have a seat and relax and work at the same time. I'm jealous

True
You got that field looking 👌
Thought about setting up some bowling 🎳 pins lol
That soil is working up nicely.
It really did
That will be a nice looking field of clover 😊

Kewanee
@@FarmallFanatic thanks.
Can't beat a Kewanee roller harrow , if you would go across the field at a slight angle it would really help level the field out !!
Sweet music from that 826!
Definitely
Hello Gino does a great job field looks perfect. Enjoyed your video have a great day.
Thanks 👊
Nice job! Love the drone and empty seat😂
Ghost rider lol
O and thanks for letting me ride along

Clover! Yeah, nice ... dang, fifty yards a peanuts right down the middle wouldn't hurt ya
I'm not sure if we can grow them here
Yep, prob a little late now. Could soak some and run a few hills. Dang nice looking field for sure
Nice drone footage
Nice one. I jave a 1456 and 806 currently. I got rid of my 1086
Why did you get rid of your 1086
Did a beautiful job!
Maybe try hooking up bothe Super "c"s and give it a try
Good idea!
At least you got a couple good pieces on the Farm the Massey combine the John Deere color packer
Lol
I have always loved the smell of fresh tilled earth on an open station tractor! I can smell it Just watching you vidio
