    Thank you!!! Loosening the screws solved the problem for me on my MK2 when the carriage arm was not going back up.

    Thank you! Had the same issue, didn't seem like MB because the blade would pop up if I tapped the carriage lightly. Turns out one of those 4 screws inside was a bit too tight.

    I have a CE3000-60MK the carrage got to the left side and stops .
    Turn it off and back on its goes to home then back to the left and hits then stops . What could be the problem.

      I would think that the issue could be the meauring of the material and its not reading the last pinch roller. The step-size in the software could be off. Its possible that the model selection of the cutter itself thinks its a wider model and needs to be reset.
      Perhaps the material sensors need to be cleaned. I believe when it starts up the cutter goes to each pinch roller then back, it could be possible that the number of pinch rollers is set wrong on the cutter itself.
      You may be able to turn off the material measuring when the cutter starts up and manually place the carriage where you want it. These are some of the things I think could cause the issue. Let me know what you find out and I'll try to figure out something else.

    When my cutting plotter goes to the left corner, it crashes, how can I stop it automatically

    • @TheWorkBench
      @TheWorkBench  ปีที่แล้ว

      The carriage should automatically stop because there is a stop switch built in there in the back of the cutter. It's possible that the switch is not aligned with the carriage.
      There is a right angle piece of metal that hangs down on the back of the carriage and triggers the switch. The metal tab is probably bent and missing the switch. I would start there.
      Flip the cutter to its back side, cutter unplugged from the power. Slowly move the carriage to the left and see how that metal tab aligns with the switch.
      Let me know if you see it.

    Same problem not down and cutting all wire is fine

    • @TheWorkBench
      @TheWorkBench  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I apologize for my late reply Umesh.
      Is this cutter the MH 871 like in the video or another cutter? Which model do you have?
      I believe that the bottom part of the electromagnet is misaligned possibly. Normally you can disconnect the USB cable and on the cutter itself press the 'test' button and see if the cutter's self test will make the carriage arm move up and down. Normally you can also move the carriage arm up and down or give a few small taps down and it should come right back up immediately, with the cutter turned off.
      When you tap/or move the carriage arm with the cutter off is the motion smooth or rough? If its rough, it could be misaligned because the top part normally goes into the bottom cylinder. Normally you can take a small screw driver, pop the carriage off track and lean the bottom part out where you can see one screw or maybe 2. You can slightly loosen these screws but do not take them out. You would just be making a slight movement in order to realign the bottom and top parts of the electromagnet.
      Now during a normal cut sent from the computer cutting program to the cutter, the arm should start moving up and down to cut. You can take the blade holder out and watch the arm. Sometimes if the pressure is too low and blade is out too much there is not enough force to make the carriage arm go down, another possibility which means blade in more and turn up the force a bit.
      If the electromagnet is aligned, the arm goes up and down -kinda bouncy almost, the issue could be the port on the motherboard where the carriage connects.
      I am thinking that your cutter was working fine and developed the issue later on? Also another question would be have you ever had the carriage arm stay down or up when if was not supposed to be?
      If you are adjusting the carriage make sure to turn off the cutter because it can cause a spark or perhaps short out the motherboard.

      Hi Truman,
      Were you able to figure out what happened with the cutter or is it still not cutting? Could you tell me more about the issue that you are having with this model. How is it not cutting?
