It’s nice watching Simms on here. It’s the rare time where someone on the Dan Patrick show knows what they’re talking about. And I’m not being facetious
Not a Chiefs fan but how can you say their 4-0 record is unimpressive? A wise man once said “it don’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning.” Dom Toretto, F&F
@@markosekulic119 The Kansas City Chiefs have been held on a pedestal for what they have achieved but it never ends. That’s why he said that. They are the darlings of the NFL. They have commercials with their players on during the game they’re playing lol? I mean come on? Do you think the NFL is biased? 😂😂They get away with so many penalties and have so many calls in their favor It’s not even funny
Okay yea in theory they could do that but for what?? It doesn’t mean the QB behind him is any better. He’s almost certainly worse. If the backup was better than he’d be starting by now, cuz he’d be outplaying him in practice and it would be too obvious to ignore. Plus, I’m not really a Hurts fan, but I truly think that this problem goes deeper than Hurts. All casual basic fans go right to the QB but that’s usually not the problem, even when the QB isn’t playing well. But it takes deeper film study skills to be able to see that
Jayden Daniels is making it look good because he has a great offensive line and a great running game. Acting like because he's 21 of 23 for 2:20 and a touchdown or two that he's f****** patched my homes or Dan Marino is ridiculous and I cannot wait for Wilborn to eat is worse today because he picked every three and no team to lose except for the
So the Jets losing record head coach wants a 4 time MVP, Super Bowl champ, HoF QB to change one of his weapons? Cuz Saleh, the losing record, excuse making, consistently out coached HC thinks so? Hey Saleh, work it out!
Go ahead Dan, just interrupt your guest over and over like you always do. Even though the guest is the one that actually knows what they’re talking about, not you, go ahead and talk over them
KC haven't been impressive they're sleep walking to the playoffs like they've done every year for the last 4 years or so. They are impressive in how they win without really playing well. But the Vikings look more impressive in terms of how they've beat the crap out of everyone they've played. The chiefs season doesn't start till January we all know that.
@@michaelmaldonado2408 it means they can win playing ugly... not that difficult. Plus they are back to back champs... you thinking the vikings win if the superbowl was tomorrow? I'd put money on chiefs versus the field... I wouldn't for the Vikings...
Jags HC Pederson and their QB Lawrence are both overrated. Especially Lawrence. The Jags may have to start from scratch in terms of coaching. Lawrence ain't going anywhere. As for Jayden Daniels he's not only competing for ROY this young man just may have the right team, right HC and definitely the right OC and could be a MVP candidate. His poise in the pocket reminds me of Texans QB CJ Stroud, but with much better "wheels".if Daniels stays healthy the sky is the limit.
With Kingsbury’s history, and with the history of running QBs overall, I would not be willing to go as far as you are in belief. Kingsbury, every year, started off hot and had everybody amazed. Then the defenses figure him out and he has no counter punch. His offenses have been shallow and not very complex. Maybe he’s added to his repertoire but I gotta see it to believe it. As for Daniels, he looks great. Love to see it. But just like Simms said, he’s running the same offense he had in college. That is such a convenient favor to have as a rookie QB, a favor that none of the other rookie QBs have. Plus, we’ve seen so many times over the years, a dynamic rookie QB takes the league by storm the first half of the year, and just like the Kingsbury example, tape piles up, someone cracks the code, and the rest of the league copies it and the rookie QB comes back down to earth. We saw it with RGIII, Cam, Kyler, Vince Young, so many examples. The real test is what the rookie QB does after they’ve figured out your tricks
Once again Patrick Mahomes went to three straight AFC championship games threw 50 touchdowns won a Super Bowl and then they paid him Jalen hurts went to won Super Bowl lost and then they paid him $250 million dollars.
Lamar is still the same as when he was in college...just bigger, stronger, faster...and not a consistently great passer... But, running him as much as they are, may help them win some games, BUT, as history shows, HE'S GONNA GET HURT....(SEE, RG3, Michael Vick, the guy who played in Philly, uh Carson Wentz?... Kyler Murray, and Tua...etc etc 👎👎
Chris Simms one major flaw is his ability to bandwagon jump a player and/or team prematurely and cheerlead support with bullhorn energy. The latest example is Darnold & the Vikings... Yes they are having a fantastic season, so far, and the Vikings are clearly the best team in the NFL on both sides of the ball thru 4 weeks... But lets pump the brakes and slow the 🍆riding train just a bit. Lets check back n wit the Vikings somewhere around week 9/10 and see how Darnold is playing and what their overall record is before we officially crown them regular season Champs🏆 😮
I watch almost all of simms, and this doesn't describe him at all. As a matter of fact, his praise this last Sunday was 'they're a real team and the real deal. We need to stop pretending they're not'... almost exactly what he said here. Pretty far from regular season crown. You seem like just a hater my guy
Dan Patrick is the most entitled, delusional yet arrogant and ignorant person in sports media. He doesn’t know anything on the field, doesn’t watch any film at all. How many games do you think he even watches throughout the week? 3-4 maybe?? And the live games show you nothing about what’s really going on. You can’t even see the defense. So Dan Patrick is clueless, yet he somehow thinks he knows better about football topics than Brady and Belicheck. It’s just pathetic. The entitlement and laziness is unmatched

Chris Simms, the all time goat analyst

Simms is definitely the man. He’s the best in the business, and Dan Patrick might be the worst, at least as far as unearned entitlement and ego goes

When you have referee help and barely win. Its unimpressive. People are just tired of Chiefs

Show up early in the preseason and work with your teammates!!!! There's no need to protect the obvious.
We’re talking about cadence… not the game. We talking about cadence man.
Cadence is a huge part of the game lmao
They’re gonna play the Bangles this week? Oh man! Not if Susanna Hoffs shows up and sings “Eternal Flame” like she can…
