Whats really cool about this is how their tool system along with everything else forces accountability between all employees. Tool not to spec or out of place then "Johnny" was the last person handling it lol. Johnny, please report to your supervisor's office... Insanely complex system to develop software/hardware wise but totally reliable in the end. Love these tours.
In the 1990"s went to an auction a McDonald Douglas plant in Torrance Ca. They had a CMM in a acrylic box that was over 2 stories high and a foot print of 60' square. Incredible to see. The Granite x/y axis ways were 36" sq. They made the "Banjo", the vertical stabilizer spar with the hole for the engine, DC-10.
now all they need is that the cards can just be put into the machine and the machine itself takes out the tools can scan them in for the operater and put them in the right spot
Man those big machines were so awesome. I have only worked on big vertical lathes that had a ladder to get to the top, but never a mill that had a spiral staircase 😆 So freakin rad. That is a company that knows how to do it 💯👍
As awesome as all this is Germany is currently suiciding with its industry head on. Hope this ends soon before such companies fall. Did you have the time to discuss about the current economical situations too? Can imagine it being especially hard to accept this as no doubt the give their best each and every second of a working day. Keep up the great work Titan. Its so important to share such positive impressions about international industrial capabilities which we must NOT sacrifice to these day's politics. There will be a time after and we will need each and everyone unit of it to get up, back to business and do awesome stuff. BOOM!
grazy thing is that one of my old bosses has another machineshop (he owns both at the same time ) where he have a lathe where he tool at 8.25 inch indexable drill. can it at 0.017inch pr. rev and couldnt even see on the load meter when it drill was cutting air or steel. couldnt even hear it on the moter. whice was in high gear which is where it has the lovest tork a upgrade i would recomend for there tool room would be to have a led matrix screen instead of a normal tv screen. simply to prevent any kind of burnin image over time. plus easy repair of the screen. plus if they for some reason needs a bigger one at some point they dont need to change it out for a bigger one but just make it bigger instead
Field research? It would be interesting to design and build scaled working models of machines, but the cost would be prohibitively impractical. Who wouldn’t enjoy access to a desktop machining center that could handle hard alloys.
That 670 series Heller is made for piss off one competitor. Competitor say that they can not made that big machine. And there it is and running all night long❤
Let me guess... all that efficiency, beautifully automated machinery, and the qualified/certified operators and programmers still getting near Costco Warehouse pay?
You should really let the people you visit talk more so we can get the information first hand It seems like you almost always cut them out to let titan talk Why mute a shot and have titan talk over it probably missing some information?

Always love the videos of brutally flying chips and "Company-visits", it's like going on a school trip 😊
Next level tool automation. It's like a huge multi million dollar vending machine. Super cool!

Just beautiful!! Wow great video like always.

Love these tours!
Awesome Titan,thanks
Good to see things I was trying to get the industry to embrace back in 2010 finally being adopted.
Great video! Those machines are huge!
Titan. Can you teach on big gun drilling machines? There is so many applications Gun - drilling machines have that relate to c.n.c machining.
Boom bigg partssss!!!🎉🎉🎉
I have been working on soraluce machines for 13 years now. The soraluces a little bit bigger but these heller machines also look great
I was lucky enough to visit the plant :), Nice for mechanics
C'mon Titan with 1M subs!!!
The beard is a good look. Love the beard and mohawk look.
Wow this is amazing and future stick
I like to keep my tools strewn about
the yard so it takes me
all day to scratch my arse!

Will you als take a look at Liebheer? A step for automation.
How much do one of these machines cost?
This is amazing.
Targets!
B❤❤m cnc big
I'm gonna put a Heller MC-670 in my shed:) boom
I want to see the machine that they machine dragline slewing bearings on.
Great Video but why are here so manny bots in the comments ?
Love ❤ India
Anyone notice the damage on that Heller he was standing inside...wonder what caused that

not too far off, most operators in West Europe sit around 25-30$ an hour.
chicken striiips
Does Titan ever talk with potential customers…???
You should really let the people you visit talk more so we can get the information first hand
It seems like you almost always cut them out to let titan talk
Why mute a shot and have titan talk over it probably missing some information?
Bro looked nervous saying Israel😭😭
Those machines should not go to china.
They already have..
i’m a machinist i NEVER see in bros in ANY of your videos that says a lot about you and your company 👎🏿
They’re out there it’s just that not many chose to going to vocational school to learn the skills. And not many companies make TH-cam videos.
Bro.
