Hi gorgeous lisa ! I discovered your channel a week ago and I watch your video every day! You are so adorable and nice and beautiful I really enjoy watching your videos. I plan to fly to Rome next year, and go eat in all the places you recommend. love you❤🌹❤
Loved it! Great job lovey. You look amazing in that red dress btw 😍 that food though ughhh so jealous. Such a cute Vlog with your mom & sissies. Well done. Bella Roma 🇮🇹♥️
Bravo Lisa; La Dolce Lisa! How fitting that your VLOG of Roma, Lago di Como and Venezia terminates in the Eternal City. I loved the fact that your personal tour ends, not visiting the regular tourist destinations, but crossing il Tevere to Trastevere, a wonderful ancient enclave ripe with history, beauty and tradition. The cuisine you presented was magnificent. In fact, I miss those pasta dishes and dolci so much that I feel like booking a flight NOW! Pasta carbonara, gelati, torta di ricotta - STOP!! Delicious. As the classic song goes... ARRIVEDERCI Roma...until we meet again. BRAVO Lisa.
love your videos so much!!! you and your family have the cutest personalities ever haahaha also I am moving to Florence in may all the way from Oklahoma and your videos have helped out a lot with finding the best places to eat! keep it up
Misha Love thanks so much for your sweet comments! That’s so nice to hear... and wow moving to Florence, lucky you!! I’ve been twice, and it’s a beautiful city, you will love it!! ☺️😄💗
Thank you for sharing your experiences! I came back again to see this one after watching your trip vlogs in Italy with your boyfriend! I feel like we have the same taste in food;) I’m going to Rome for the first time in two weeks! I plan to stay in Trastevere. Although I know it’s not as central to the sites, I feel like the energy there resonates with me...and I will be in Rome for 4 or 5 days. Do you think I should at all consider staying somewhere else? Thank you!
Colleen thank you for watching my videos! In this mother-daughter vlog series we stayed near the Piazza Navona area in the beginning and we ended our trip in Trastevere (in this vlog). There are pros and cons to both! Trastevere is so magical and lovely, but a bit far from most sights in Rome... meaning, if it’s your first time and you want to see as much as possible, it is a BIT inconvenient! However, there are great restaurants in that area as well, so it could be beneficial. I just know that from having experienced both, my mom even commented on how she loved the other area much better than Trastevere, which she said was “dead” lol. Rome is Rome so anywhere you stay, you will love, especially if it’s your first time! I hope this helps 🤗
Lisa, is walking in the evening in darkness safe with 2 adult females & 1 child? Visting rome for the first time & thinking about this for dinner time. Hotel is in Spanish step area.
Anna Kitchen yes it should be safe but of course be careful and alert. I’ve always felt safe in Rome, especially in the main touristic areas as there are always a lot of people walking around. That area is quite touristic so you should be fine, just stick to the main paths. I’ve been walking around Rome with just my 2 sisters when we were in our 20s and never had problems ☺️
Beth Morrall thanks so much! Lucky you 😍 We never booked (except for th Terrazza Borromini), however it’s always good to do, depending on when you want to dine. With da Enzo it opens at 7:30 and by 7:00 there are already people lining up (that’s what we did) or else you will definitely have to wait. Hope that helps! ☺️
It’s so cool to see your experiences in Rome! (Omg you had SUCH cool-looking food!?!) I also just uploaded my Rome vlog from my trip last Summer if you guys wanna check that out :)

Loved this vlog! We are going next Monday, can’t wait! Did you book the restaurants for dinner or is it generally quite easy to get a table?
