I was going to ask why you left this beautiful country but your explanation of your friend's lives compared to your "nutty" life is perfect. You choose to live happily in the present and the now rather than what society says you're supposed to do. When your friends reach their golden years, maybe unhappily, after there are no more bigger cars to buy or no more bigger apartment to upgrade to, they'll realize why you chose this path. Frankly, that is why I watch videos of westerners living their dream lives in other countries, because I wish I could jump off the proverbial rat-race wheel and live as I want to. Its nice feeling seeing new things in our country but the wierd feeling the people who stayed there still dont know whats a real normal life means. Russia is a beautiful and a very rich country because of oil. I have 3 siblings there in moscow. Hopefully one day i can go visit them . Im just not sure if Canadians are welcome there since Putin doesnt like Canada. St Petersburg is gorgeous! My sister did the sky diving , it was hilarious! I would like to try it in moscow.
