One time hear in America a guy was sleeping in his bed and a sinkhole opened up and swallowed him and his bed. They never found him.

yes that is exactly what i was thinking when i saw this news and already thought they may not recover this driver when this happened. the only differences are the guy who died in his house was his property not a middle of the public street so probably they will try to recover the driver otherwise they cannot re openup the roads.

It isn't a 'semi truck' (aka articulated lorry), but a rigid. The driver's cab is still in the hole with the 74 year old driver. As of 8:30am JST, the driver still has not been rescued.

Imagine an automated civil service which conducts ultrasonic inspections through autonomous driving throughout the city. This should be clearly identifiable if the road is not sitting on stable ground.

Humans getting to play a real life version of “whack-a-mole” but with sinkholes instead.

If they had the very biggest of military helicopters they could use it as a crane and than even if more sink holds happen, they could then still lift the cab of the truck out of the sink hole.

With America letting the world know that climate change has been dashed out of the window, expect many more sinkholes! 🤪

Idk man, I'm not American. But, most of the time those sinkholes aren't climate change related or at the very least minimally related if you consider chaos theory. The rising sea levels and melting of Earth's ice cap are the results of it, not sink holes. Sink holes are formed naturally all over the world all the time. Why do you have to blame everything on climate change? You got unemployed? Climate change. Your son turned to be gay? Climate change. Your wife left you for another man? Climate change. Smh... Also, stop blaming America. Everything has to be their fault, why?
