What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, a feeling characterized as a pleasant tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to certain sounds and actions, such as gentle whispering, personal attention, soft hand movements and crinkling noises.

I see Alexandru offered up a few bits of info, wouldn't hurt to fill in the gaps :P
9:37 - You can go further than that. You can go into the alcove immediately to the left and between those chairs further aft to the next alcove over. If it looks like you can't go somewhere, try anyway :) Sometimes there are some seemingly tight fits, but the camera can go through.
16:30 - As Alexandru said, that raised platform is a cargo hatch. The top surface was removable - as it was on all decks with similar hatches - to allow cargo to be lowered into the holds. This area was more for the passage of crew and third class. The area above, where those stairs lead, was the actual third class common area where some could dance or hang out if they wanted to. There were no dedicated stages, though.
18:30 - That huge dining area was actually for both sets of third class. It was divided into two rooms by that WT bulkhead. Due to the shared corridor access and the stair layout, the forward half was for families/women and the aft half was for single men.
27:10 - Browne actually wasn't a priest at the time, just studying to become one. This and the cabin opposite were late additions during fitting-out, which is why they see so out of place. In fact, Browne had trouble finding his cabin because it wasn't on the deck plans issued to passengers.
That style of cabin was also standard for first class. In fact that generic, plain style was used in around 75% of first class cabins - most with even more plain paneling without the oak dado - with many of the fancier cabins not even nearly as fancy as the ones you're shown in the movie. First class decor, in general, was pretty standard White Star Line fare used on other ships. Even the fanciest rooms like the lounge had similar counterparts on other WSL ships.
30:50 - The Italian Restaurant/Cafe staff actually have a sad story behind them. They had it rough on board due to anti-Italian sentiments, and when the ship sank, only 3 of the Restaurant's 69 staff survived.
32:00 - The Restaurant was its own entity. It was not operated by the White Star Line, but a different restaurant management company. The money passengers paid here went to that company, and unlike the main dining saloon, which had strict meal times and menus, the restaurant could be dined in at any time from open to close and you could order what you wanted from their larger menu. If a 1st class passenger didn't eat in the main saloon at all, they would get a refund on the dining portion of their ticket. Paneling from Olympic's A La Carte Restaurant survived its scrapping and was even installed on a modern cruise ship's restaurant up until a couple years ago.
37:35 - If you're wondering, that heart scratched into the door, the K and M stands for my name and my fiancee's name :P It was from a photo of a heart she carved into a bench, I snuck it into the demo while I put together these scenes :D
38:05 - You missed a small linen closet through that open door in the cross corridor ;)
38:25 - I don't know if you know and it didn't say there, but poor Ramon died on the Titanic.
44:22 - Saalfeld survived, but his perfume vials went down with the ship. That is until they were later recovered from the wreck. They still had nice scents in them when opened again and it overwhelmed those in the artifact room with emotion, most notably Bill Sauder who broke down in tears in the Final Word documentary while recounting the event.
Kyle Hudak So cool that you found my little video! The work yourself and the team are doing in this project is wonderful, and I can’t wait to explore the ship fully and the whole experience when it’s released! Apologies for not exploring all the areas and such, and my lack of historical knowledge on the Titanic! Despite my lack of information surrounding it, the history behind it still fascinates me and I’m not as clueless as I seem- promise! 😛😛 Can’t wait to do more videos on this when release comes around!
They’ve added so much more since this video. I would just LOVE a new one with the updates.
This is absolutely amazing! I've followed this game since it was first announced. And have also been fascinated with the titanic since I was very young. I cannot wait for the games release but this video gives a pretty good idea of what it will look like. Well done
I predict that it will take another ten years before they release the game.😂🤣.
You should have went down into the boiler room stokehold floor and up to the top of the fidley where you can see the funnel from there, those are some pretty cool views! Well, not so cool down on the boiler room floor.
Being noticed by one of the devs is so cool. :)
Yay! New video!! Welcome back 😀
Hey Ava glad to see you're back :) I hope you're doing well and that we'll see more of you in the future. Much love from Canada!
Mimosa E. Thank you so much! 😁
It’s last port of Call was County Cork in Ireland.
Naturally there's a feckin' flute playing in the background.
TheTsar1918 Naturally, of course 😛
Gives the Irish feel. Because indeed it was an Irish ship.
Welcome back to life Ava! Bout bloody time ;)
Happy to be back. :P
AvaSMR remember what I said. When in doubt Cranial Nerve exams ;)
Ava! You really are the star!
The time the demo is set 1 day before the sea trials that took place on April 2nd (they should have taken place on the 1st but they were canceled because of wind). The actual voyage was on the 10th of April. Wierd that you didnt know untill recently that Titanic stopped at Cherbourg since its portraied on the movie too :)
16:26 that is not the dancing area. That is a cargo hatch
Why didnt you go down in the boiler room? You could go right down at the bottom.
The Enquiry Office is not the same as the Pursers Office, the Pursers Office was right next to the Enquiry Office.
Fancis Browne was a priest, he took the only photos of the Titanic, that is a first class cabin, not a crew cabin
You should definitely play Adventure out of Time, its a great game and the best Titanic game to this day, every Titanic enthusiast praies this game. Its a bit tricky to play now since it doesnt work well on modern Windows but there is a site were you can download it and an emulator to play it
Great video, loved your voice, you could have started the demo from outside not directly in the ship, you could have shown the ship from the outside too, and a bit of Belfast which is a first since the other 2 demo's only featured the ship from the inside.
Alexandru Carjan Thanks for all of the info! Hahaha I got my dates mixed up, so don’t judge me!! I will do a bigger tour when the full game is released! 😁😁😁
Another great video! But I have to ask - Where have those older videos like midnight library gone to? Please reupload/ unprivate them. They’re great. X
If you can can you please play the full version of this?
Ava my friend Kevin singing Asmr told me about your video. I know a lot of facts about the ship. The binoculars in the movie they were looking for. The binoculars were on the ship but the old crew that left had the key to open up the box that had them. The fourth stack pole was fake. It was mainly for decoration. Since the ship was so big they had a newspaper to let everyone know what activities where going on. Let’s say you stayed on the ship. When the ship was going underwater a air pocket would rip open sending a wave of pain to your head. Leaving you in shrieking pain and you would die in minutes. So you tried to stay in the water you would freeze to death unless you managed to get on a life boat. A very tragic of the sinking of Titanic. Thanks Ava.
26:50 is that the same place where the final scene in Titanic plays after Rose dies and is reunited with Jack? It sure looks like it! Oh never mind it's actually at 28:51 haha.
Jack™ You mean the A deck/Boat Deck grand staircase.
Yes! even though this still isn't it haha.
Depends on if it’s the forward or aft staircase. I believe in the demo it’s the forward. Don’t know about the movie.
James Bond It's the forward in the movie as well. I don't believe they ever showed the Aft staircase in the film but I may be wrong.
Mackenzie Beaumont I figured it was the forward in the movie since the aft didn’t go down as many decks. I don’t know if they showed the aft either. It’s been a while since I’ve seen the movie.
