- Hey guys! I really took my time to edit this video and perfect it for you guys! I hope you enjoyed it! I am happy to share my highs and lows and show that you can do it! I did not grow up with horses and even started "late" compared to most of the barrel racers in the sport.

You are one of the most courageous young woman I have ever read about! Right up there with Fallon Taylor who broke her neck riding barrels. She had to start all over to learn to work etc! She eventually became a 2 time world champion. She is a really successful woman! You shout look her up . She is very inspiring!
You just made my whole horse journey better! I have been riding for about a year and got my first horse a month ago, and have been having lots of difficulties with my horse. Can’t run patterns right, having trouble controlling him, and other troubles. So this helped me a lot.

You are so inspiring to me! I have a similar story to yours with "starting late" and not having horsey family. This sport is so much harder for people without a foot already in the door but you are so accomplished and inspiring to me! I've had my horses for around two years and I do small gymkhana games at local shows with maybe 40 people. I have big dreams though and you keep me dreaming ❤

You have no idea how much I needed this I’ve been barrel racing for a couple months and my horse is 26. She doesn’t listen very well and we made a run today and it was all over the place. You put the confidence back in my runs Thank you.

this is so encouraging! My horse is a Tennessee walking mare in her mid 20s so she is definitely not ideal for barrel racing, especially because she has a heart murmur. I'm so nervous to even lope her I've had her six months and never even loped! I really needed to hear this so thank you! Barrel racing had been my dream since i was 10 so im hoping God will make this work for us.
I have a mid 20 yr old Tennessee Walker too! ❤ She also has a heart murmur that’s crazy!

Hi! I love your videos so much! You are such a good role model:) I am 16 years old, and I just started taking lessons about 2 years ago, once a week in the summer. I’m training to be a barrel racer! But, I feel like I’m not really getting anywhere. I’m just wondering where do you begin on leasing horses and how it works. My family is not a horse/rodeo family, so that also means I have no where to keep a horse. I am struggling lol

I qualified for Vegas (Texas) because I qualified in 2020, and I went to the PA one as well, it was about 3 hrs away, wasn't to bad.

I do riding lessons now but my family is not gonna let me lease or have a horse so it’s been kinda hard idk how to explain it to them how I feel and how much chores I would do and stuff but I don’t have a very horsey family but I’m trying my hardest

Omg the half Arabian / Quarter horse cross is legit the best - do you remember Rio’s registered name or if he was registered. He’s beautiful. This is what I run/ my dream is to breed a whole bunch of half Arabian barrel babies!!
