I have a retractable fountain pen by Writech. The cartridges look to be proprietary and the feed has a wick. It writes well, but I haven't seen branded replacements for it yet - outside of the 5-pack black cartridges that came with the pen.

Interesting! You don’t see a fiber feed that often, or a retractable.

I like Jet Pens. They have a great selection of stationery, they ship free (within the USA) on orders of $35.00, and they get the orders out fast. Highly recommended!

      Yep. Big fan for ages.

JetPens has a refill bottle for the paintable stamps (I just checked). Looks like something you would not want to spill, since it’s oil based.

Neat! I could make SUCH a mess. 😆

"Hakoake" I think means "box-opening." I'm devoted to Frixion pens because I use them for crosswords (Sunday Times puzzles that are published in books). The ink (I use blue) is very readable compared to pencils, and just as erasable on decent paper. Erasing Frixion ink on newsprint is not a good idea, but on the relatively cheap paper in the books it works okay. Yes, I do have to erase in crosswords once in a while.

Thanks for the translation. That totally makes sense. And FriXion for things like xwords and Sudoku makes good sense to me.

I still wipe off the eraser shavings when I use my Frixion pens. I love mine but don’t use them much. I love everything from Kokuyo.

I always try to wipe off the eraser dust. 😆

I got the other writech set which are dual colors but not black. Really liking them so far.

I got those, too, and I’m liking them a lot.

I wonder if it is a similar technology to the silhouette Mint stamp maker? They look similar, and those are made with a heat and pressure sensitive material with a toner printer thing…?

    I do like eclecticism.
Of course you had to get the stamp! It looks as if it were made with your kitty crew in mind.
I want to see the refrigerator/cold trick with the Frixion pens.
Jet Pens has so much fun stuff. Thanks for sharing with us!

I have a really old video with the frictions in the freezer, but it is probably time for a new one.

I really like those writech pens. Rather they came with blue than black but I like them nonetheless. Too bad jet pens doesn't do affiliate links. Edited to add: you have the wrong description on the video.

Yeah, I like blue more than black too, but the black ink is good, and it’s a nice contrast to the vintage colors.
Thanks for letting me know about the description. I totally remember writing one last night. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I wonder what video that went on. 😆

Frixon pens make me nervous is the insane heat, though, haha

As long as you don't leave them in your car they'll probably be fine.
