Running RR7 H -12 offset with 275/70/R17 Falken Wildpeaks AT3W on my 4Runner ORP kdss stock
Lots of rub. Trimmed the bumper about 1 1/2” while pushing the fender liner. Removed mudflaps. Driver Front just touches the body mount 1/8-1/4” at full left turn. Might do a body mount chop but not really necessary. Just a heads up in case anyone is heading towards the same boat.

Yea the TRD Pro suspension being a little bit higher definitely helps out for that.

Thanks for the info. I still haven’t decided on wheels. I really like the RR5-S in gloss black but as of now they’re only available in -12 offset. I don’t mind doing some trimming, I just don’t want to do any suspension work right now. It hasn’t even been a month yet since owning the 4Runner. I’m sure I’ll eventually do a lift but now I just want a mild daily driver with nice wheels and 265s. Honestly, I the stock ORP wheels don’t look that bad in my opinion. I may just get a set of all terrains and call it a day for now. Thanks again Mando.

What tire size are you running? I’m looking at the RR5-S with the -12 offset for my new Trd ORP, stock suspension height. I’m going to get some all terrains but keep the stock 265/70/17 size. Do you think that will work with minimal rubbing?

Lol so he gets mad excited saying it doesnt rub at all and then points out the parts that rubs and what he had to take off and push forward. So basically it rubs even if it’s slightly at full lock, it still rubs. Its all good tho! Congrats Jon on the new look. Transforms the truck for sure and mannnnnnn that’s awesome for those tiny little modifications for what you gain with those bigger tires and wheels cause they look amazinggggg. Love the trd pro wheels and the design but my only gripe with the trd pro wheels is the width should be wider. I think 285/70/17 is the perfect tire size for 4Runners and tacomas. The stock tire size just is too small and considering you can get broncos with the Sasquatch 35s and jeep followed with the xtreme recon 35s but even the normal stock rubicons come with 285/70/17. The trd pros should’ve been designed with this tire size from the factory. I know they did it to get better mpg numbers but just for the trd pro they should’ve done this tire size. And I prefer the look without the protection rings personally.

I have installed 30mm wheel spacers after a 2 inch suspension lift on Prado.
    The wheels are still stock.
    I have 3 options.
Should I get -12 offset and remove spacers?
    Or
    Keep spacers with stock wheels
    Or
Get -12 offset and let the wheel spacers be there..

Hey Jon, I’m new to the 4Runner community. Just picked up my 2023 Trd ORP last week. I really like the RR5-S with the -12 offset. Do you think they would work with the stock suspension height and a 265/70/17 all terrain tire? I have a 2012 JKU Wrangler on one tons and 40”Toyos so my plan is not to go crazy with the 4Runner. Love the channel, bro.

Hey Jon. I have a 17’ trd off road prem and was wondering if 17x8.5 0mm offset with 265/70r17 tires would have any rubbing with stock suspension. Tried to do some research and didn’t see any clear answers. Thanks!

So how bad does it rub if you actually go wheeling. Damn near hits at no flex. Sure wish 4Runners weren’t so hard to put bigger tires on. Jeep add a 2 inch lift and 35”s or 37’s.

One thing to note, TRD Pros are trimmed at the port on the front so although you didn't rub. Someone in a TRD OR or SR5 may need to trim front bumper a bit with -12 offset.
