At the moment it is 51/49 to the Ram. I know the pacifica is better in almost every aspect for my family, but the dodge got v8, looks so much better and can still take the whole family on board. I'm thinking about buying a 6 seater, but not sure if that extra seat in the middle of the 1st row will fit as it looks small and the floor is raised underneath... I'll have to see it in person, which isn't easy in Europe.
Thanks for watching. The 6 seat config has positives and negatives. Airflow is fine on the 6 seat ram because it still has the a/c vents on the back of the front center seat. I have three kids and they all fit fine in their car seats in the back seat. I have two golden retrievers and they fit in the back with the kids. Is it alil cramped…yes but we just did a 4 hour each way camping trip and everyone did fine. The center front seat is really more for a child than an adult.

I'm wondering if one of them would sit on that center front seat and the other could be on the back seat. Do you use that center seat much or if you bought the truck again, would you opt for the center console? I want a truck, my wife wants me to get an SUV but I need to convince her that a truck with one car seat on the side and one in the middle would still be a solid option for a family car haha
If that truck gets T-boned by a minivan or full size sedan, you're likely going to have to deal with a rollover (which is the most deadly thing that can happen to you in an accident). A low center of gravity is one of the important things needed to survive in an accident.
It would take a minivan or a car going very fast to make a 8,000 lb truck to roll over. The truck may be high but this truck is planted. It’s not a modified 1/2. The power wagon has to pass all the same accident avoidance and yaw tests any other factory vehicle has to.
@@GReviewz I agree with your assessment if the other vehicle has a high front end. But every time the IIHS increases the challenge of crash tests so many vehicle which were doing great start to fail. The test rig they have for doing side impacts on trucks is shaped more in line with the front of an SUV. Their are many cars which have a low front end, and are either heavy(Volvo S90) or prone to going fast(Corvette C8). With some cars it's all three of the factors(Model S). If the other vehicle has a very low front end and at least two of the factors mentioned above, their front is going to scoop up the floor of the truck.

Depends a lot of what kind of life you live, I got 4 kids, bike going , fishing , skiing I think a truck is better even if 1 seat is missing for 2 parents and 4 kids, i just bought a 2024 minivan I love it but i miss my older truck. With the trunk that you have you just throw things inside and wash it no matter if they have sand dirt what ever, you cannot do that with a minivan. Both cars are great depending on what style of life you have.
