    Gorgeous guitar, great sound, amazing price. Some incredible guitars are being made cheaply now...and you can buy them used for not much money. Very nice video.

    I've got two Jet's already the JS-300 (I changed out the ceramic PUPs) and the Tele JT-350 (great alcino PUPs) both are fantastic guitars and the price made buyng them a no-brainer. I think I'll look for one of these, I need an HSS Strat.

    The logo is aimed towards youngsters I'd say... Finishes too, bursts are very 90s.
    Word is Jet manages their production in Asia face to face daily. PRS has its own section of the Cort factory you may recall.
    There has to be recent tech advances in making and fretting necks. If Fender could keep up with Asia their own roasted maple replacement necks might not cost more than this complete instrument, or 2X a new JS400.
    Firefly is beating the drum too, torrified mahogany bodies tho, have their shell pink Super Tele trem and an HSS Strat shaped object, both the same $200 shipped price point as the JS400. I usually donate dialed in cheapies to the local arts high school, kept both of these.
    White JS400 on the way, have quiet coil SSS's loaded in a black aluminum pickguard in waiting...

    I got this one for 4500 mexican pesos brand new which is 200 pounds, 266 us, 239 euros. I'll say it was a sweet deal. Better guitar than many Squiers, Benton, Ibanez and other Strats of similar value, plugged into an old Orange 30 r Crush.
    Wilkinson bridge, lock in tuners, bone fret, light weight, roasted maple, divine color on the top. What's not to love about this guitar?!?! Good vibes

    Well, I was not so lucky with my JET JS-400 as you seems to be, people. I bought the thing last year (as an upgrade platform). Out of the box, the action was in the skies. Set the thing and discovered it needs a fret levelig operation. Did the leveling, managed to set an almost decent action, but after a while (weeks) some frets started to pop-out. Another fret leveling ... and so on. I had to do this 3 times. For now, the things looks stabilized. Other issue: after ~4 month of playing, the lacquer started to crack on the fretboard. So, I had to repaint the first seven frets with a decent quality lacquer. Other thig: the electronics is really poor. But this is to be expected. Good luck people and keep going.

    It was so good, that I also bought the Tele with humbucker and single coil. The only downsides: the JS450 has one bent but operational tuner (the head of the safety pin is in a strange angle). the Tele fret-board made my fingers black for a few months. They are fantastic guitars. The neck shape and profile is just my style.

    I bought one of these a few days ago. It's a phenomenal guitar if you are willing to upgrade the pickups. Those pickups, including the single coils, are useless, thin, brittle, just a torture for your ears. Doesn't matter because the rest is worth buying anyway. Most important, I really love the neck!

    • @23amcfad

    I have the JS400, fantastic guitar, only gripe was the trem springs, easy fix, I swapped the single coils to IronGear, personal preference, bought from the first batch released in UK, no fret sprout, or other issues, under 400 quid, Id buy another, tbh under 600 it would be the Sire Strat, tbh I dont need anything more than that. Last weekend, bought the Sire 335 copy with P90's, that is really nice and rocks for a 335, you guys should review that, example live playing with Band on my channel, the best Strat I ever owned was a Fender 1997 anniversary with Gold hardware, very expensive, the Jet is 2nd and cost beer money, I can afford expensive guitars, but there is no need with these about, they are great and I hope the quality persists.

  • @ParaBellum2024
    @ParaBellum2024 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It does look nice, but there must be corners cut to turn it out so cheaply. How thick is the body? On a separate note, I once went to try out with a band and was met by a huge pall of cigarette smoke when the guy opened his door, so that was as far as I got! I think he considered me rude for declining to go into his house, but after years of getting home from gigs stinking, we'd finally got the smoking ban so I wasn't going back into that world.
