This is a good tutorial on BGP but for beginners, it's probably a lot easier to just configure OSPF. I think only advanced class of network engineers would get a chance to tinker with border routers.
im getting this message when i try to set the second neighbor on router 2 : "Packet Tracer does not support internal BGP in this version. Only external neighbors are supported." how can i resolve this please?

this is a nice example but i cant seems to follow with my packet tracer to continue from where you start , thanks anyway for the demonstration.
You are using /30 but you are putting 255.255.255.0 on your mask. Im confused
I think /24 includes /30 as its subnet
