The use of a loopback interface ensures that the neighbor stays up and is not affected by malfunctioning hardware, the main benefit from using loopbacks is that it will not bring down the BGP session when there are multiple paths between the BGP peers, which would otherwise result in tearing down the BGP session if the physical interface used for establishing the session goes down.
BGP routers use the stored information to route traffic optimally. The primary factor in path selection is the shortest path, as determined by the stored route graphs. When a destination is reachable from multiple paths, BGP selects the best one by sequentially evaluating other path attributes
@@NetworkingAcademy1 i tried with bgp with above version and it says "Cisco Packet Tracer does not support internal BGP in this version. Only external neighbors are supported."
If you successfully configured this protocol, Mention it in the comment section. Thank you NA Family
I've seen multiple videos but they're not missing loopback ip configuration and post it but your amazing truly genuine teacher or instructor

How would static route config will loook like to connect both routers?
Kindly check our static route configuration with different method in this playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLsSUy4S2Ih38jF5llN9xpaHmahi3_nY92.html
And if i add hsrp command.. do this still works?
Yes
If i add another router at the top.... How can i do this?
BGP can run with HSRP, although it's not advised. It can't be used for non-stop forwarding packet, failvoer does cause BGP to rest.
it does not work on router 4311?i m using that but not done
Use 2911
hey bro is the same configure if use 3 router?
Yes
@@NetworkingAcademy1 last question bro instead router i use i can use multiply core switch and use same configure?
Of course you can. But I prefer ospf.

hello, nice video , i didnt understand the result of bgp
