- In this clip from episode 185, Chris Johnson stakes his claim as greatest titans running back ever but Taylor Lewan doesn't want to hear it. Taylor is riding with Derrick Henry and Will is ready to be swayed either way.

It’s 100% trying to compare 3 totally different styles. Eddie that punch you in the mouth high speed bulldozer, CJ that slashing ⚡️, blink and you missed him and Derrick that massive freight train with with telephone pole stiff arms that just keeps going.
Best comment on this. If you're talking about a ground and pound run the ball offense it's Henry all day. If it's a 49ers shanahan or rams mcvay offense then CJ2K is the better fit. I'm a lifelong Titans fan and Henry and CJ2K are both amazing backs but depending on the offense you are running is which one you would take over the other.
I mean.. henry is everything and more except a receiving back and he can even do that
Yeah you was on point with this one
@@NicoSavage and except he’s not slasher. 0-100 in the blink. Yeah he’s fast. Especially for his size but he’s not a jump cut burner. And except for every once in a while he’s not really been that sledgehammer RB. But honestly that’s probably what’s going to keep him in at a high level longer.
@@noregertsyamsayin8011 the best way I could describe them? Shoes. Track shoes (CJ), Cross trainers (Henry), Army boots (Eddie).

He no where near shady but carry on 😴
@@fhoeschasepape was faster and more explosive then shady McCoy. I don't recall a 2000 yard rushing season from shady. Shady was amazing in his own right but CJ had that world class speed and vision. Shady is more of an elusive wr scat back

People tend to sleep on Eddie George. Dude was consistently great for a decade plus. Eddie was the first person to put the titans on the map. He also took the titans to the Super Bowl, something none of the other backs can say.
Jeff Fisher ran him into the dirt...

The craziest part of the video is realizing that Lewan is a 9 year vet lol. I remember when dude got drafted now he's been in for 10 years time has flown by hasn't it.
wtf..
And has sucked for awhile…..
Hey cj2k can definitely talk dat shii
His credentials r certified

Hell yeah six straight 1000 seasons
Henry has 175 less carries than Johnson did with Titans and in only 413 yards behind Johnson career rushing total. Henry will pass him in all time rushing in the next month. Henry has 22 more career rushing TD's The recieving is where the argument is, but when it comes to running the ball by the time Henry is done is gonna have far surpassed anything Johnson had done. Johnson still was a beast tho.
Both are great and I think with their time on the titans, the offense rely too heavily on them and didn’t look to get more weapons around them. Wish they had a better qb and offense overall to compete in the playoffs. CJ definitely wasn’t appreciated enough because of the lack of postseason success.
6 straight 1000+ yards at 5'11, 200 as a lead back averaging almost 5 per carry is hard to say he isnt.

All that at barely 200 lbs.... CJ was a bad man.
Derrick Henry and CJ2k are 2 totally different players. I could only imagine if CJ2K played in Shanahan‘s scheme on the 49ers today. Derrick is the type of player go under the center with and give him the ball 25 times.

King Henry #1 Chris Johnson was a beast but Henry had 11 men waiting on him in the box all the time & still got his yards Cj hasn’t faced that type of pressure

Titans have the greatest collection of RBs ever
✊🏾⚔️
Idk.. they up there esp when you include earl Campbell.. but Dallas and the rams are in the argument too..
Cowboys, Rams, Steelers and Chiefs have had better RB's. I'd take the Chiefs Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson and Jamal Charles over Derrick Henry, CJ2Seasons and Eddie George. Priest over DH, Jamal over Eddie and LJ over CJ2Days.
Best 2 Seasons
LJ had 4300 Yds and 40 TDs.
Priest had 4,450 and 51 TDs, JC had 3,725 and 33 TDs. EG had 3.700 and 30 TDs. DH had 3,900 and 35 TDs CJ had 4,118 and 28 TDs

this is simple
cj never had over 1400 rushing after his 2k season and derrick was on pace for 2k again but had 900 in 6 games then he got hurt now he comes back on pace for 1700 cj had 1300 for a whole season then only had a 1000 that 3rd season after derrick already has 1000 in 10 games
I don't know anything but I enjoy watching King Henry more than any other back in the league, so I'm biased. Breaking tackles and stiff arms are my favorite thing to witness in a game. So if there was a lightning quick running back that ran past everyone untouched, because of his speed, talent, and vision, I wouldn't fully appreciate his greatness, cuz visually it just looks like another running back going through a big open hole thanks to the o line (I'm not keen enough to fathom athletes full talent). So I prefer a slower back that breaks tackles over a faster back that dodges defenders, even though a faster back going untouched sounds more efficient, consistent, and intelligent. Never get touched, never break a tackle, never take damage. I know one of the dudes they talking about be like that haha I'm so stupid
I feel you but cj2k definitely broke tackles. Titans o line was never the best so he had to do most of the work. Wasn't just hitting open holes. It was juking running literally across the field juking the whole team and just being too fast for anybody to not get ankles broke lol and once he passed you you ain't catching him
This is a trip… imagine arguing your tops list with dudes on it… 🤯
The reason Henry didn't start right off is because of the number carries he had already had through high school and bama and they allowed him to sit and get his body fully healthy.
Nah brah they just had demarco and he was better at the time. Now the dion lewis situation mustve come down to just practice reps looking better and then like everybody knows you cant give derrick only 10 carries a game he might be 10 for 40 but that 11th and 12th could both be 25 yarders
Reason he didn’t start because they had demarco Murray
No it’s the way they was using him they wanted him to be a typical powerback/bruiser and he not that. Once they changed the way they was giving him the ball he skyrocketed
No, he wasn't then what he is now. He was getting 20 touch games and not producing. Eddie got In his ear and fixed whatever was wrong to make him what he is now.
That’s a funny way to spell Earl Campbell
he had 4K season in high school…
Derrick is big and strong like Eddie but can break 90 yard runs any time like CJ. Obviously King Henry, with all due respect to Earl Campbell
Lol first off Derrick don't run like he's big and strong. He runs like a one cut speed back with terrible agility and acceleration. Most important thing I want you to remember. Don't ever compare Earl Campbell to any rb that played after 1999. The game is different. What Earl did against those defenses, how he did it, and even how long he kept going for running the way he did. He only played like 7yrs and had almost 10k yards

Mann Johnson was a speed demon like no other. The burst acceleration, top end speed and great vision. He was my generations Barry Sanders. I have to go Johnson, then Eddie then Derrick at this point in time.
As a Steelers fan and an afc north fan. Eddie put that division away many times killing the clock. He was a game ending machine. Few more seasons and Derrick will probably take the top titans spot. Eddie was a beast.
Gotta know the history man, Earl Campbell has to be in the conversation, even if you don't put him on your list, he should still be an honorable mention. Chris Johnson, Derrick Henry and Eddie George is my top 3, because I didnt watch him play much my honorable mention is Earl Campbell, whose longhorns jersey I have on my closet.
Good to see CJ’s beck twitches have gotten better. I twitch exactly how he used to twitch. It gives me hope that I can get mine to go away
It’s Derrick, Eddie, then CJ, no question. No disrespect to CJ he’s definitely a Titan legend. But like Taylor said, Henry is seriously one of the greatest RB’s of all time. And Eddie was a cornerstone of the team for twice as long as CJ was
Derrick gets the slight edge because he was dominant in the playoffs.
1: CJ2k had 7,965 yards, on 1742 Carries for 4.6 YPC, and 50 TDs in 6 seasons with the Titans. Which averages out to 1,327.50 yards and 8.3 TDs per season.
2: Derrick Henry has 8,335 yards, on 1750 Carries for 4.8 YPC and 78 TDs in 7 seasons with the Titans. Which averages out to 1190.7 yards and 11 TDs per season
3: Eddie George has 10,009 yards on 2733 carries for 3.7 YPC and 64 TDs in 8 seasons with the Titans. Which averages out to 1251 yards and 8 TDs per season.
But here’s where it gets interesting
1: CJ2k had 272 catches for 2003 yards and 8 TDs in 6 seasons with the titans.
2: Derrick Henry has 127 catches for 1244 yards and 3 TDs in 7 seasons the titans.
3: Eddie George has 259 catches for 2144 yards and 10 TDs in 8 seasons with the titans.
So it depends how you look at it. Technically CJ2k had more production on average while at the Titans, Eddie George had the most overall production over the longterm with the Titans, but if Derrick Henry stays at the Titans he could surpass Eddie in a couple years.. time will tell.. but CJ2k was still the most productive on average by a long shot..
You have to go with the RB that had the most longevity, wins, and stats.
The different running styles are both great and amazing.

Chris Johnson never rushed for under 1,000 yards a season while being a titan and grabbed a 2k rushing title like Henry
Henry is dominate. He is the Shaquille o neal of the nfl for runningbacks for the last 5 years.
Chris Johnson caught from the backfield like none of them could
Lewan completely folded
So nobody seen Chris Johnson body tweaking. Look like he was about to have seizure for 20 seconds

What the hell does that have to do with handing the ball off
I feel you BUT Tannehill in 2020 put up really good stats. So let's not act like he a bum. Kerri Collins wasn't nothing too special though.
CJ and Henry were also 2 completely different styles also. CJ the jump cut burner, Eddie that sledgehammer, and Henry that run around you throwing telephone pole stiff arms.
Wish they would have played together that would be crazy
Derrick is hands down #1 and I grew up watching all 3 of these rbs. Cj2k had 1 playoff game and hurt his ankle. And on top of that the king is 250 lbs. And Eddie had Air Mcnair. Cj2k Played in a different league. No doubt he was electric. But the king is way more a domenient rb. Every team knows where the ball is going and can't stop it. And Eddie had an A+ line and Derrick has zero line.
Derrick Henry was a backup his first 3 years and passed all of them up
Lucky I’m no Titans fan. I would hate to be asked this on the spot 😂😂
Bro common. The click bait title is cringe. Beggin lol
To keep it honest, not a single person feared Chris Johnson after his 2000 yard season. People were terrified of Derrick Henry and Eddie George. Chris Johnson was good for three years then gradually fizzled out.

CJ2k 2000 yards will always be more impressive than king henry's. He literally has the record for most scrimmage yards in a season that'll only be broken with a 17 game schedule.
Henry, Eddie, then Chris. not difficult at all imo
I agree with Compton. If its one year I got Derrick. Career I got Derrick 3 maybe 4 after the Texas great Earl

Nah dude prime Eddie way scarier, and Earl Campbell lol. I'd rather jump off a 20ft building then have him run into me in his prime. 5"9 190lbs Kenny Moore has blasted Derrick so many times lol. You can't find clips of Eddie getting destroyed like that, and that's because they don't exist.

Lol harder to run back then. Plus Jeff literally ran it 40 times a game to Eddie with everyone and their mom know he was getting the ball and still managed to get close to 4yac running against some of the best defenses ever PERIOD.
