Great lay down of some fantastic Militaria. I saw your dad at the Kassel show earlier this month. Snagged a nice set of panzer shoulder boards and collar tabs. Glad to see your dad remembered me when I was stationed with the British Army back in 1996. I was in your London store every Saturday!
I love your passion for militaria, also for organic and gluten free dining. If we ( my wife and I ) ever get to the UK would love to patron your new restaurant. Our food in the USA has become quite tainted. What is the best price I could get on your book. British painted steel. ?? Thanks. Jeff. Fellow enthusiast
Mild Turkey yeah you keep on about this... I have to disagree. These items have survived 100 years and a war! In an ideal world we wrap all these artefacts up in cotton wool but that not realistic or financially viable. I handle these items daily and transport them to and from shows, ship the to the other side of the world and almost never have any damage! Treat them with care and respect but don’t treat them like ancient relics! Most importantly never clean anything!!
Dan Fisher so you agree with leaving pickelhaube on their visors? I've studied and collected pickelhauben for years, and I've seen the amount of strain and damage that it does to the visors. In fact at the SOS once I asked a dealer to pull a pickelhaube out of his display case and the visor abruptly snapped off, his shock would imply to me that was the first time. You don't have to treat them like the Crown Jewels, but to leave non of them on a support so they don't sit on their visors is simply irresponsible.
@@khoile976 I don't believe that story for one moment, and it would not "snap", if it had rotted or strained treads, it would have broken while in the case or would have just lifted right off of the visors.

What would you like us to set them on, besides, it does not do that much damage, they are not that heavy, chill dumby.
