Nearly 40 years ago my family chartered a repurposed fishing boat out of Juneau complete with a great captain and deck hand for a week. We spent some of that time exploring Tracy Arm, a highlight of the trip. Before the days of cruise ships or excursion boats, we were totally alone and saw no other boats until we got back to Juneau.
