Thank you for this really helpful comparison. Whilst I can see that the update presents material more clearly, there was something wonderful about those older illustrations, charts, trees, etc.
@His Servant I like the old one because the space between the words makes it easier to read and I like all the extras that we're taken out. Accept the archaeological supplementary I can see why they took that out. Put the space in between the lines and the space in between the words were larger before or more of it before period. Now the words are tighter together
I like the new edition better. The comfort font is easier to read for me. The red letter is way better. It’s easier for new believers in my Sunday school class to use. For me it’s a better bible than the original.
You mentioned a few things that you prefer that zondervan would have kept in their new publication. Will there be any new additions of pages/ information in the upcoming NASB that is due in the fall? Or will it have the same exact information as this NKJV?
Someone who has the perspicacity told me it’s because the folks who would buy the expensive premium ones know better. (Like Phil Donahue, I’m reporting, not judging.)
Does the indexed edition have only the indented tabs for the books of the Bible and the maps, or are there the indented tabs for the study sections in the back?
Sorry, I guess I couldn't see it clearly enough. And I forgot to say thank you so much for your in-depth analyzes of all the bibles that you review. I really appreciate it.

Thank you! A very good, thorough review!
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this with us. Good job 👏
Am glad I was able to get the Zondervan with the same print block as the Kirkbtight 5th edition.
Why would they take out the illustrations?
Tradition has an element of beauty that modernity lacks.
Just bought mine from Church Source for $15. It was about 91% off
I absolutely love my new edition
I don't like to say this. l 👍 like the older edition.

The handy size has less space between the words. 😮
Is the TCR from Kirkbride smyth-sewn? I'm thinking it is, but I just wanted to be sure 🙂
Yes, it is Smyth-sewn.
I want NKJV Large print Thompson Chain Premium collection 😎
Thou wilt settle for calfskin or pay for a rebind.
Why are they all red letter except the expensive premium one?

Both. You can see it in the first video from this morning.
