- 'Che Guevara' a Welsh Language Campaign Song by Steve Eaves a'i Driawd, the song is dedicated to Alun Llwyd and Branwen Niclas, two Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg activists sentenced to time in prison after in 1991 during a campaign for a Welsh property act (deddf eiddo) they broke into the Government office in Llandrillo-yn-Rhos, Conwy, and caused damage. Song released in 1991.
Ngl I thought this song would be like a pro-Cuban welsh song because Che Guevara was the name
to be fair that would have aged like the 'Kambodja is free' norwegian socialist song that sounds cool and all until you realise they're celebrating pol pot.
@@AlexC-ou4ju There is a world of difference between the Che and Pol Pot.
Gaelic cousins, Ireland always stands with the Welsh people! 🍀
I met the coolest Welsh man at the Paris Olympics last year and we exchanged words in our native tongue, such a cool song!💚
