Hmm I was so hypes to learn that I can use a controller for maple story now I have already setup and did everything possible like going to both properties of the steam and maple exe, put it to run as administers, connect my PS5 controller put in as gamepad as the first parts is the same with the other video.
Bro, my original xbox one controller just doesn't work when I open the game on steam and make the settings. In the game I reset the buttons to WASD and adjust the controller in the steam settings and Maple doesn't recognize anything. I don't know what else to do.
Your suppose to set the settings for Desktop, ur not suppose to set it for maplestory the game. 1:10-1:25 should show u how to get to it. You should leave ingame maple story settings as none for all or you can reconnect your controller and itll disable maplestory ingame controls.
I even downloaded joytokey and the controller inputs are recognized by the computer for anything including typing into search bar but on maple it doesnt work. I ordered the remote you have but i have tried 3 different 8bitdos, xbox one controllers, xbox series x controllers, switch pro controller, and dualshock for ps5. They all work on steam through my mac.

Im using through steam i tried launcher as well neither works for me
