Its about damn time somebody took an interest in doing something that nobody else is doing. This will set the tone for the season. It’s a great way to jump the curve for timing routes, screens etc with our first and second team. We need that continuity and stability and putting in the time as a team is incredible. 45 years been watching my Raiders and I’ve never heard of or seen anything even similar to this. This is how we go deep into the playoffs and stare down that Lombard!

Our season almost depends on it. I think our roster and coaching is good enough to scrape into the playoffs if he plays decent. If we want to win a super bowl he is going to have to play above average

Ive been a Raiders fan for 42 year. I'm super excited for this season. IDK? something just feels different this year. AP is bringing something special to the team and it's making the star players buy in like I haven't seen in a VERY LONG TIME.

I feel like literally everyone in the building felt like we left a lot out there on the field last season. Which is why you see the passion leaking throughout this off-season. And TBH I feel that exact way too.
It hasn't felt like a genuine off-season to me. Just a Longer more extended Bye Week if anything.

Sanjit anyone in the work force knows the managers (head coach AP) are mostly in the office taking care of administrative work and supervisors are the ones with boots on ground executing the plan from management with the employees. Using my analogy I believe AP will let his supervisors (coaches) run their respective units how they best see fit following his guidelines. Can you do a break down of our coaching staff where the QB coach is coming from what's his play style like the LB coach ect. In order for this thing to come around the people under AP are the one executing the plan and are ultimately going to be a big part of if we have success or not. Thank you go Raiders
That's not how sports work . Thd head coach has to evaluate EVERYONE to know strengths weaknesses and how to develop his players. That's why you see so many clips of AP on the field.

You know we have tried just about everything else in the past from bringing in Superstar players to changing coaches to Ben thinking we needed to get players who are winners and who care. Which was kind of Mike mayock and Jon gruden. But we have never ever tried to have a coach that was an ex-player who is emotional and who the team absolutely loves and respects. When was the last time that happened that we had a coach who the team loved and respected ? Maybe Jon gruden on his first stint was the only time and look at the success we had. Now we have an ex-player who the team absolutely adores and who is gritty and who is like a real Raider. I think this is a match made in heaven

I want to give some credit to Tom Tabasco as well. AP is the right coach for the Raiders, but his partnership with Tabasco has the earmarks of a GREAT HC/GM combo.
Andres Peat is massive. 6’7 316 lbs. Our O line will dominate in the trenches hopefully.
Sanjit, I know things can change but AP was pretty clear in his press conference that Peat was brought in to play on the left side only.

They’re putting the rookie stud (JPJ) next to the experienced franchise Left tackle (Miller) & the veteran pro bowler (Peat) next to the young upcoming Munford, with Andre James at center of course.. that’s my starting Raiders O-line! Unless Munford gets beat out at RT… But we’ll just have to wait & see, still got a long ways till week 1 in LA!! 🏴☠️☠️

Gruden brought some credibility back. It's important to know the details, right? Make no mistake about it, Antonio Pierce is force from Raiders of old. Gruden doesn't have that bit. This is all AP bringing back to the Raiders what we own. The swagger is back, baby!
Considering that the NFL hates the Raider organization and us pirate fans they gotta work harder to overcome the bad calls and non calls they will use to jam us up.
Love your predicted OL starters! Why move Parham and JPJ? If Peat can lock down the RT with Thayer as swing tackle we could dominate this year. Our 12 package will be hard to defend.
That's a good point! I'm not too sure if Parham is going to be better as a RG this year, vs as LG. I'm alsot not sure if it would hinder him if we had him switch sides after 2 yrs at LG.

This is why I am fine with us moving on from Jacobs. He never put in the work like Crosby and others. No doubt he has skill but if he had that motor his body might have held up better and who knows how good he could have been.

Come on, guys, let's be realistic. We're probably going to be about 500 season, even though 500 is not possible. Unless there's a tie but all said and done. We're gonna play good, but I just don't think we have a quarterback. But hopefully I'm wrong, been a raider fan since. I can remember and I'm 46 years old. I've seen ups. Our roster isn't good enough yet. We are another good draft away from having a playoff type roster.
They have to buy into it if they want to start and not lose their jobs. Not all Radier fans are falling for the hype. 1. Pierce did not lead the Raiders to the playoffs. 2. Pierce did not secure a franchise quarterback. 3. Pierce hired a weak offensive coordinator. I go by facts and wins not hype.
