Has Woohoojin ever made a video talking about physically holding the mouse and how to move properly? I feel like this is something everyone but me intuits. I always feel like I stuggle to find a comfortable posture while playing and end up resorting to playing with only the wrist. Not sure if this is something others run into or if I'm just weird lol
You need space to move your full arm, and mostly if you have good cross hair placement, unless you have to flip and make a 180 shot, wrist is enough for micro flicks
Yeah, i just use my wrist lol. There are lots of pro using high sens. If youre comfortable playing like that you do you. You dont have to use low sense to be good at this game (or any game really). Its arguably easier using lower sens, more stability etc etc... but if its uncomfortable then why torture yourself? This comes from a guy who uses a sensitivity of 70cm/360° (for 4k hours in multiple games combined) and changed it to 23,627cm/360° because low sens caused my shoulder blades to hurt and its overall not comfortable for me. As for the transfer from low to high, ngl it was pretty hard but u get used to it in a week IF you train daily. Was it worth? Yes for me. Now i can play games that require high sens and not have sore arms and hurting shoulder blades from over using. What about muscle memory? Dont focus on that. What you want to train is your hand eye coordination not muscle memory. Hand eye coordination is why some pros change sens and still frag out. Best way to get around this is to stop actively thinking about how you move your mouse and just use it. Stop attributing your aim to the way you hold your mouse and think of your aim based off your crosshair placement, tracking, positioning and so forth. The comfortable mouse grip will come naturally as you practice your aim more and more. If you keep thinking to change the way you hold more mouse to improv your aim, you'll never settle into a comfortable grip, because you're constantly changing your grip and thinking about it, than focusing on the game.

Why is the off angle at 14:07 bad? Isn't the enemy exposed to us while peaking cantine? I'm a bit confused because when I first saw it, it seemed like a great off angle but Mr. Banana disagrees. I know the main point is that being alone on enemy eco is bad but he also said that the off angle itself is bad. A few things were wrong here. He later added that, that off-angle was expected in high elo. Also since it's an eco from the enemy team, fighting it solo is a big no no since you can just get 1 tapped from sheriff which can fundamentally change the outcome of the round. He also said that it can be good if played correctly I.E with the help of cypher cam and yoru flash in that specific situation.

There aren't really many objectively bad or good ways to play off-angles and angles in general but you have to understand what's good and bad in specific situations. At the end of the day our goal is to maximize our chances and minimize their chances so nothing is actually a given.

I use medal and download my clips to put into montages but it’s also convenient for medal use because they have a vod recording mode that records an entire like several hour long vod and download the entire thing without fps interference that I get from obs, i would prefer to record with obs regardless but not on my current setup
I think one time I tried one vod recording software (overwolf maybe?) and it TANKED my FPS, making it super spiky. Switched to OBS and I don't even notice it's recording and at great quality too

Teams can save at any round when they're short of credit to get a good buy (and thus , higher odds of winning) in the next.
An eco round is where your team doesn't have enough money to buy expensive weapons (i.e. rifles / ops) so for one round you buy cheap weapons (stringer, pistols, etc,) so you will have enough money next round to buy rifles

Bouncing the flash on the floor makes it appear to pop faster, there's no real reason to throw it up, it just makes it worse.

Medal uses the same encoders as OBS under the hood - so you probably just need to configure your OBS encoder settings more carefully
