You’re welcome😊 Reading notes is not that hard for drummers. You mainly have to know the duration of a note. (Like 1 beat, 2 beats or half a beat for example). Figuring out where they are in the staff is for the most part almost self explanatory because there are not too many different ‘tastes’. Unlike for example piano with 88 keys and they all have their designated location on the staff.. I started out playing everything by ear as well but after a learned reading , things became more clear in my head. It gives me a better vision if what it actually was that I was doing and it also enabled me to see beyond that enabling me to come up with things that I wouldn’t think of initially. Keep it up!😃👊
