1st of all what are live rounds doing anywhere around a movie set? 2nd, why is there a prop gun that even fits live rounds inside? 3rd, why would the gun not be totally unloaded and then reloaded to make sure only blanks were in it BEFORE being handed to anyone? 4th, why would you hand someone a gun and say it was "cold" if you never checked it? Lastly if someone handed you a prop gun, why would you yourself not totally unload it and reload it to make double sure it was safe before you fired it? Having an investigative back ground, I would question each person that left the set complaining about safety on the set to make sure someone did not slip a live round into the gun hoping an accident would happen in effort to affect change. At the very least there is definitely some criminal negligence on the part of everyone handling to weapon a a large pending civil suit

Stop saying Baldwin's gun "misfired." It did exactly what it was meant to do (i.e. fire whatever cartridge that was in the chamber).
Misfires means that the gun went off without anyone touching the trigger. So the gum didn't do what it was meant to do.

A gun going off by itself due to some kind of mechanical failure is an accidental discharge - it still fires properly, just not when intended.

What can we do about this global climate change? Individuals should not own cars any longer. We need to increase public transit. People need to stop driving so far in the countries they are wasting fuel and polluting. Let's relocate people to City centers so they can use public transportation instead of having two cars in a garage for selfish reasons. Do you know eating meat is one of the biggest polluters ? we don't need meat in the 21st century and those who eat it should be charged extra taxes.
Let's also do a mileage tax penalty for people who drive more than 10 mi per day. they can pay per mile. If we make these small changes we can have a big impact on the environment!!

That wouldn't have helped since the gun misfired aka fired without touching the trigger. Even if he had checked the gun would have gone off. Someone would have been shot. The real point is the gun was known to misfire the safety person should have taken it out of use.
