I grew up with Frasier and absolutely LOVE Sopranos. Never heard of and/or never watched the other 8 listed in that article LOL. Funny thing is, I used to replay seasons of Frasier for years on TV (the old DVDs) when I couldn't sleep. This was a fun video - thanks!
TV is all about selling ads, so there's definitely drama added and inappropriateness feeds drama. Fun to watch; don't expect reality (because it's boring and doesn't sell ads). Thanks for this Marie!
Working with kids sometimes you can call out the BS and other times you need to tip toe around it - I found the BPD one interesting as it really made me reflect on some of my students and how the same behaviours with different context can need to be handled in wildly different ways - the girl who is hurting and lashing out because she cant communicate her needs is so different to the child who feels invisible who is acting out to be noticed and get any kind of attention. Adding a parts lens to this with kids is also fascinating and the best part of my job :D
I love when you talk about therapeutic technique, would love more videos about direct practice skills.

Do you watch shrinking? Great show about therapist so funny
This is interesting..
Ive never clicked faster lol
Typically TV shows make therapist look so bad. But again TV is suppose to entertain. Lol Shrinking prime example but hilarious to watch.
