We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while we building our own off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.
Our house build is documented entirely on our main channel "Wild Wonderful Off-Grid". This channel is dedicated to short vlogs showing our life outside the build.

Please don’t take this the wrong way, every time I see the way Ellie interact with you guys she reminds me of my youngest daughter that passed away 17 years ago at age 8. She was the sweetest little soul to my wife and I, but loved everyone and everything.

Never thought I'd miss the ear piercing screams of a happy kid...until now, mine are your age if not older, although their sounds of joy no longer fill my home ( or jangle my nerves) the memory is there to linger. My nickname for my daughter was pumpkin pie blizzard girl. She kind of grew out of that when her little squeaky voice was gone. Shes 12 now but Fall I think is the favorite time of the year for all. We have a planned visit to county line orchard soon to pick up some fresh baked goodies. Their Carmel Apple Pie is awesome. Thanks for sharing your day

All my kids are out of college, in their 20’s. We still go apple picking and take the hayride to the pumpkin patch. The memories you’re making will last a lifetime!
